The rooms are getting tired and would benefit from being refurbished. Also the fan in the bathroom made an horrendous noise which suggests that proactive maintenance is not occurring.

The associated restaurant is good with a great view but it is a bit pricy.

More of a suggestion than a "dislike": one of the lamp shades needs to be replaced.

Great location close to Capitol Reef National Park and only a couple of miles from center of Torrey. Room was on the back side and was spacious, clean, comfortable and had a view of the surrounding mountains.

Rooms are barebones (no fridge or microwave, no table/chairs or desk, public access cable, you have to go ask for a hairdryer from the front office) and need some care (some mold in the bathroom, one of the outlets arced more than typical which seemed unsafe).

The Rim Rock is a short drive from Capitol Reef NP, has a great view, and a good value for the area. The rooms were reasonably clean and have the basics you need (comfortable beds, attached bathroom, a TV). Their Patio Restaurant was convenient and surprisingly tasty. Staff were kind and helpful.

It was a great location for Capitol Reef NP. The room was nice and rustic which I thought was very fitting. I ate at the restaurant for dinner and it was excellent with great views.

Wish they would have had water to fill up our water bottles.

The service was excellent - we were going to be checking in 30 minutes after the check-in window, and the guy working the front desk stayed late to check us in without charging us the late fee. The free breakfast was nothing exceptional but we weren't expecting it so that was a plus. The beds were comfortable.

Rooms was small with little luggage space and no in-room coffee made. Expensive for small room with few amenities.

It’s obviously an old building so the room looked a bit outdated inside but that’s not a big deal to me.

Excellent location! Just a 8-10 minute drive from Capitol Reef visitors center, about 50 minutes from the otherworldly landscapes around Hanksville, and 1.5 hours from Goblin Valley State Park.

No coffee maker in room. Room small with no luggage racks or hanging space. Could hear man snoring in next room. No breakfast included.

Rim Rock Inn is located outside Torrey on the way to Capitol Reef National Park and is therefore closer to the park than accommodation in Torrey itself. There is a restaurant onsite although we didn't use it. We did use the pizza bar one night. We appreciated the complementary coffee and pastries that were provided in the lobby for breakfast.

Unfriendly front desk clerk. Unfriendly hotel check in process. Huge cost per dog. Almost didn't accommodate us even though I disclosed we had 3 dogs when I booked on Booking.com.

I have mobility issues and booked place through Booking.com which has my handicap filter on my account, weeks before our arrival and I even reached out to the property before hand stating I could not do steps. And when my husband went to check us in the woman said well the steps are close to your room . When he told her I couldn’t do them she said okay there is a place at the end of the parking lot she can use. It was a unloading dock for the resturant .I was expected to roll my wheelchair in a gravel parking lot fast enough to get over a curb and get up a hill. My husband had to back our car up until there was a level spot and set up my wheelchair so I could get in it and go to our room which was on the back side of the building and through a narrow hallway. The women came out to check on us as we were trying to find and maneuver our way to our room then went back in the office. It wasn’t until after dinner and I had to walk with my wheeled walker around the whole deck did my husband discover a wooden ADA ramp right by the office that went around the back of the building where our room was. If she had mentioned that on arrival it would have been so much easier. The beds in the room were high and the mattress was too hard and there was no microwave or mini fridge or coffee pot. Luckily there was coffee in the office, their on-site restaurants were only open in the evening.
