Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.

Sagamore's discount on valet parking offered on their website did not extend to our booking.com reservation despite the tag 'WE PRICE MATCH' on-site and despite the size of the reservation (2 rooms for the week, 2 rooms for the weekend). Also, rooms like 412 should not be charged at current rates, considering their inferiority to other rooms.
Location was great. Staff was very friendly.

Lighting in room ; switches for IPad/phone charging in kitchen didn’t work.

It was great. Just minor things could be improved ie a little more kitchen stuff available in the suites like dish soap or utensils or blender or more glasses.
Location. Chill vibes, not a party. Great access to beach and nice pool.

The staff is never helpful and in my room many things were not properly working. I had some issues. Paid very expensive for my king suite and it did no worth the cost.
I did not like the breakfast. The Service is terribly slow. Impossible I would say.

I was expecting a renovated room as I booked a deluxe King with balcony.
The size of the rooms, although out dated, they were still good as we were all close to each other. The pool was great and the bar staff at the pool were amazing.

Check in times could have been better as it was 16.00 before we got our room, this is their published time but it is near cruise liner docks that have passengers looking for accommodation prior to travelling home, and later check out times for night flight travellers, or alternatively better changing facilities with showers.
Able to upgrade room, near Lincoln Road, Area a little run down due to refurb of neighbouring hotels, beach is fine pool area very good.

The hotel is right on the beach and has a nice, but small pool. The drinks at the pool/bar are great and the food is better (price and quality) than other area hotels. The hotel also has a large collection of paintings and a mini-gallery to spend a few moments in, while in the hotel. They also provide reusable metal water bottles instead of daily plastic bottles which is a nice add for thirsty folks.

Beds a bit soft and pillows lumpy. Disturbed that had to pay extra for beach umbrella and extra chair when already paying high facility fees. The $/nite high but appreciate lower than some other facilities.

Would have loved to have a few dishes and utensils in the room since there was a kitchenette. And an ice machine on each floor would have been nice. We did not splurge for a view so that was a little bit of a bummer looking at the hotel next door. And the windows did not open, but I can understand why. But I like fresh air...
Location was awesome. Loved being on the beach and boardwalk. The pool was amazingly warm. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The room was spacious. Loved that beach chairs were included in amenities. The food was great and reasonably priced.

A more secure wifi network would be one area of improvement. My IT security kept cutting off my wifi access because it was not restricted.
Fantastic location with access to the beach and Collins Avenue. Very good sized room. The hotel had a very good pool area.
