To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaThe line to check in was RIDICULOUS! They need to either come up with a new way to check in people or hire more staff. I lost precious time that I could have been at the beach, at least an hour if not more, just waiting to check in. There was no early check in available which they should have in place knowing that they create a situation like this. Also, there was no door on my bathroom which made it extremely uncomfortable and weird since I was there with someone else
I stayed in the 1600 building and the king size room was nice. It came with a big fridge, stove top and oven. For the value, you can not beat having a room like that right next to the beach. The bed was comfortable and the TV was nice and perfect.

I DID NOT enjoy all the extra fees when you check In. Also,I booked a room and accidentally made what I thought was a reservation for a hotel this company also owns.I only paid for one of the books,so I thought that was the room I had booked.Once I got here,I had already paid for 2 nights.I had to pay for the reservation AND the booking had to be paid again,so I basically paid for 4 nights,but only got 2.Its actually NOT the hotels fault.Its the booking app being completely not transparent about the fees and the fact that a booking that isn't paid for is NOT considered a reservation,IT SEEMS ITS CONSIDERED A BOOKING!!!SO I HAD TO ALSO PAY FOR THAT!!!.IVE never in my life experienced something this ridiculous.It would be so much better if the discounted prices would be received ,and actually honored with ease but its Not the case.The hotels are generally Not happy when you arrive with discounted books and are quite vocal about it,stating you should ALWAYS book directly with the hotel l!!?!This has happened at each hotel, I've ever,booked thru app. this one being the mosy obvious about it.They seem to want their hotels to always stay fully booked so they DO need these apps to fulfill the rooms, BUUT, they also want everyone to pay full price so its a real catch 22.they make sure you pay so many fees,You receive basically no discount in the end.Not sure I can do anything about it.Had to say my piece.

I honestly don't understand all the complaints people have had here. The value for the money is just as expected. The room was clean, close to the beach, with access to 3 pools and the breakfast was fairly good (bagels, cereals, sweet bread, fruit, eggs, coffee, juices).

Italy- they charged me twice and I'm still waiting for my Money back. I'm not Happy about worrying to have my Money back on holiday. I Will update if I get the proper refund. Update: After almost a month and hundreds of calls and mails to booking customer service (thank you for helping me guys!) I made to have my Money back. Hotel refused many times saying It wasn't a double charge despite screenshots from my bank account balance. Worst customer service ever. Do not go there!!! - parking wasn't free - lady at the desk was rude - in the closet there were no hangers, so It was comoletely unuseful.
