We loved everything about our stay! Especially the breakfast!

The room and all accommodations were absolutely amazing. Breakfast was delicious and the service was on point. Our room was so impressive it literally made my wife break out in tears.

Check in was awkward. Stood around and waited for about 10 minutes even tho we arrived exactly as I told them. They were doing a dinner that night so a little chaotic.

We are older and not technically oriented, so the television was hard for us to use and the internet did not appear to be sufficient. The location in conjunction to the highway was a bit problematic. I slept okay, but the noise of the traffic was a concern to my wife

the location was handy to the downtown where we went for dinner, the staff was excellent, the room was very comfortable, the wine upon attending was a nice touch, the breakfast was good, as was the server.

Only complaint would be the location because of the highway, BUT easily overcome because of high quality service and beautiful clean indoor environment.

The floor above us was a bit creaky, but they provided us with a noise machine to drown out the “old house” noises. We also could have used another mirror in the room…maybe above the desk? The bathroom could use a towel bar and small shelf under the mirror.

Such a lovely little inn! Our bedroom was comfortable with an extra sitting room and bathroom with an enormous shower. Breakfast in the sunny porch was delicious!

Great location. Was easy to get to and close to everything. Rooms were large and comfortable. Everyone was very nice. I requested tea for the Keurig machine and it was there the next day. Breakfast was delicious.

Felt completely alone there most of the time. Not like a family -run b&b where the owner lives in the same house. The staff were there for limited hours and were not there when we expected them, i.e. for an advertised happy hour on the second day. Also the lavatory in our bathroom didn't retain the water.

Parking was difficult when the Inn was hosting events or the restaurant was busy.

This was a lovely property with unique rooms and historic ambience. The staff was so welcoming, accommodating and personable. They made the experience great.

My commode wouldn’t flush very well is the only comment I would have to make that could have used some improvement.

The room could use some touching up. It is nice but the carpet it very stained which wasn’t a huge deal to us because you could tell it was still clean but still it’s definitely time for new carpet and maybe a darker color. Also there is some areas of paint and trim, tile on the sink, etc. that just simply need fixing to make the room what you would expect from a large suite like this. I understand everything is old but the things I’m talking about wouldn’t be big projects at all, also there was some old cake and drinks in the fridge when we got there. Just do a more thorough job cleaning, the small things make a huge difference for guests.

The piedmont room was super cool. Really big suite but was super comfortable. The wet bar and bathroom were great, tub was big enough for 2 and the bed was nice. Breakfast at Founders (downstairs at the Inn) that was included was really good and all in all you can’t beat the value.

I would have loved access to ice. I had an ice bucket but no mention of ice. That would have been nice. And maybe a small fridge in the room.

The breakfast was very very good, ate at Founders at the Shaffner. It was very cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed it so much. The accommodations at the Summit Inn were wonderful. We enjoyed our Camel room so much. It was very spacious and beautiful. The shower was wonderful and very large. Loved sitting on the big front porch!

Loved the beauty of the building, inside and out. The Piedmont suite was divine. The jacuzzi was perfection. The shrimp and grits..the BEST. Gary, our waiter, everything and more!!

One thing is the closeness of the rooms, but that's a typical B and B. Its easy to hear your neighbor. I heard her blowdrying her hair for about 20 mins.

I was told I could check-in early, however, I arrived and they at the time could not bc the room wasn't ready. They tried to contact me but the third party app had my number wrong. They made accomodations for me and it was amazing. They were kind and thoughtful.
