The motel style rooms in the back are simple and small. There’s a tiny bathroom. The small sink is located outside the bathroom near the door to enter the room. I believe at this price point there should’ve been bottles of water in the room and the Wi-Fi did not work the whole weekend we were there.

The location is excellent. The view of the ocean is fantastic and walking along the road is beautiful. The main house is very pretty.

The receptionist was not friendly or welcoming.

The sink setup is terrible, highly suggest to change it. The shelve above the sink sticks out above the tiny sink, water gets everywhere because one cannot position their head close the sink for brushing/washing Coffee/water pots in guest service area need labeling so the pots are designated for single purpose, the hot water was undrinkable because it had coffee flavor for making tea.

Could not get the shampoo and body wash dispensers to work even after being replaced. No chairs in the room to sit on and beds were too soft for me. Parking could be a problem.

A few breakfast snacks would have been nice, The bathroom sink spout was too long for the sink and water would spill onto the floor. You could not rinse your mouth after brushing.without hitting your head.

The bathroom was very small and the sink nearly impossible to use. It is a retro style with a faucet mounted to the wall but it has such a shallow depth that I could barely brush my teeth or wash my face. Impossible for two people to get ready at the same time.

The location of the Shore House is perfect right across from the sea wall and walking distance to town, the beach and restaurants. The front lawn was wonderful to relax across from the ocean on Adirondack chairs with drinks from the bar.

There were a few things we did not like about our room. First, the fixtures on the sink made it difficult to brush your teeth or washing your hands without getting water on the floor. While the fixtures were cool as was the sink, it seemed not practical. Second, there could have been a better place to hang clothes. There was only one hanger and it was located at the top of a storage unit for towels. We did have to ask for more pillows because each bed only came with two which was promptly taken care of by the friendly and helpful hotel staff. Next, the colorful canvas dividers the divide the balconies although clever were squeaky and made noise all night long on a particularly windy evening. This made it difficult for sleeping. It might be better to have a solid bar across the bottom making it easier to give privacy while being able to maintain the canvas dividers. Finally, for the price we paid for our short stay it would be nice to have a small continental breakfast (fruit, pastries) in the morning rather than just coffee. Each morning we had to walk or drive to get breakfast, not exactly convenient.

We enjoyed the view from our balcony with a terrific view of the ocean. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The dresser and night stand were mid-century modern as was the mini-fridge, adding to the overall theme of the room. The bathroom being updated felt very upscale as well. Overall, the hotel was quiet and a perfect respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The furniture on the balcony was perfectly selected. The rocker was higher up and soothing to use. The low Adirondack loveseat was perfect for viewing the ocean. On our first night we enjoyed drinks on the Adirondack chairs that were provided on the front lawn of the hotel. Drinks were provided (we paid of course) by the Sea Crest restaurant (not part of the hotel but located in the hotel lobby). Terrific ambiance and service by the restaurant staff.

Room lighting very bright, not restful. Shelf above sink makes it hard to wash your face without water going all over the floor.

Clean and comfortable. Basic facilities enough for one night stopover. Shower was lovely.
