Parking across street. Stairs to get luggage in. My daughter totally hated the look and smell of the entire building.

    Location was good.

we reserved for 100 and was charged 177.00. The room we got had not been cleaned so the guy moved us to a better bigger room which was beautiful. The manager the next day was very rude but the place is beautiful.

The dishwasher in the room was broken. The room cleaning had not been completed- food left in frig, etc. more thorough vacuuming was needed around the edges of the room. Towels and TP had not been replenished.

The breakfast had good variety of products and was attractively set up.

You are responsible for emptying your own garbage and changing the towel yourself. UNLESS, you ask 24 hrs in advance for the room to be cleaned. Which no one told us at check out. Breakfast was ok. The pool was burning our eyes, just being on the pool deck.

Breakfast was not too great, the scrambled eggs were dry. The pool and hot tub were dirty so we couldn't enjoy a swim and hot tub like we usually do.

Room description said it had a queen bed. It was a queen headboard but NOT a queen bed. It was definitely a full size bed. A bit overpriced for what we got.

We would've enjoyed extra time in the hot tub downstairs but we did have a whirlpool tub in our room so it made up for it.

Our room was fantastic, lovely view, very spacious and the whirlpool was very relaxing. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub downstairs. Check in/out was quick and easy.

Front desk staff wasn't very knowledgeable . Several mix ups when checking in. We were not told about requesting them to empty the garbage or give us new towels. We had to bring our dirty stuff to the front desk and ask for clean stuff. Also, the wifi was absolutely horrible. We could barely get on it and had to sit at the door of our room. The pool chlorine or ph is way off. Our eyes were burning from just being in the pool area.

    The location is excellent.

Dirty sock left on desk chair obviously not moved since last guest or cleaning. Dishes from last guest washed but still in washer. Directory was a qr code but Verizon network intermittent there. Hotel connected to to Old Chicago restaurant through lobby. Would have been nice to see signage or told by desk. Wifi free but trouble connecting.

Good location. Free parking. Spacious suites.

I was told they were queen size beds when I reserve the room, turns out they’re a little bit bigger than a twin beds and they must be beds from the 1920s because they are very very uncomfortable. If I was to change anything I would get brand new bedding. And then I would tell everybody to go there.

    Breakfast breakfast with fantastic

The room we stayed in was not advertised as an inner room meaning - two entrance doors and no windows. The inner room and amount we paid was ridiculous.

Canal park and proximity to restaurants & lift bridge were perfect for my family.

I didn’t like was that the playpen wasn’t inside one of the rooms when I had asked for one a month before booking our stay and we also didn’t have enough bath towels in our room and I want to add that the blankets for the sofa beds weren’t in the room & we had to keep going downstairs to ask the front desk for all these things.

    Breakfast exceeded my expectations!

The floors didn't seem vacuumed. I found a broken string of beads that led from the bathroom to the bedroom. There seemed to be a longstanding clog in the bathtub we never addressed. The street traffic was also loud enough to wake me up at night. I loved the lake view, but I would not stay in this specific room again.

I love the suites because they feel like a mini apartment. Lots of space, but still cozy! Love the brewery and bar downstairs. The staff of the hotel are always welcoming, attentive and polite!

My room did not have a window in it and that was not indicated when I booked. It felt strange not pleasant, like I was trapped in an elevator feeling. 5 kids under the age of 7 where hanging out in the hot tub, coming in and out and their parents did seem to care. that made relaxation in the hot tub for me and my husband very uncomfortable, so we just went back to our room that felt like a bomb shelter and went to bed.

Close walking to canal park and restaurants.
