Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaOur room faced 49th street and it was incredibly noisy at 3pm when construction across the street started. We had to ask for extra towels. The mattress was a little too soft for our liking.
Nice size rooms decorated in a chic contemporary style. Very clean! Chris at the front desk was great. Lots of excellent restaurants nearby. It was nice to have a complimentary continental breakfast.

CanadaThe bathroom fan didn't work, so the entire room got humid, and with the afternoon sun it was basically a sauna. The pillows are far too soft and I didn't get much sleep but I'm used to something akin to a sheet of plywood so I'll put that down to personal preference. The included breakfast fast was ok but I feel we wasted a meal instead of going out and getting something amazing
Location was stellar for the trip, though we'd likely stay elsewhere further from Times Square next time. For this trip though, being able to walk about 30 seconds to a show and then back to the hotel couldn't be beat. Plus the proximity to 9th for the great food! The staff were incredible!

United States of AmericaThe air conditioning was a little odd. I don't remember exactly but the it didn't work properly unless the fan was on high. ' But the big problem was the TV. Having it behind a partially silvered mirror is an interesting trick, but it destroys the image AND the remote doesn't work from across the room. I thought there was a problem and I told the front desk about it. I'm pretty sure they replaced the batteries. But it still didn't work. At that point I figured perhaps they DIDN'T replace the batteries. So I went across the street and bought some new batteries. It STILL didn't work right so I assume it was the mirror partially blocking the signal. This is a bad idea and I might think twice about staying there again because of it.
The style.

BrazilI had a small issue with the key at the elevator, it was not working. But when at the reception they treat me as if I was a deliquent or even not a guest. Asking to confirm my name every 5 min and showing my passport all he time. Then when the key was working at the elevator was not working at the room. For them were clear that the battery of door lock had gone. Call maintence and I had to wait 45min. When the maintence person came saying the problem was not any battery, the manager just realized that the receptionist didn't cancel the previous key. Not counting that the manager walk me to my room to make sure it was not a coup. I'm quite an old lady with 58 years old and it was a clear discriminating due the fact to be brazilian.

United States of AmericaIt was a bit noisy next time I will request higher than 6th floor. But since we had AC on mostly, was less noticeable. Room was very clean., Note: no robs in regular king room, and the refrigerator did not work (empty and not on). Staff was supper nice, and nice bonus for cocktail hour! It was terrific having Serafina connected to hotel, and breakfast was very nice to have,. The location was perfect for us, convenient parking across the entrance. We'll stay again for sure regardless of little issues.

ArgentinaThe air conditioning/heat didn’t work very well, we had the same issue in both rooms, but in the end we got used to it 😂. It made loud noises when the heat started boiling.
Very quiet spot in the middle of Times Square. Staff is everything, they made our stay very pleasant when we had a problem with our first room, they made everything in their hands to solve it and changed us immediately when they couldn’t do it. Rooms are large and very comfortable (we were in a superior suite).

United KingdomBeing bang in the theatre district, the hotel is right in between two very popular shows in Chicago (across the street) and Book of Mormon (next door) and so the noise levels at opening and closing times was quite loud. Insular glazing on the rooms facing out to the front may be a good idea (we were 10th floor, front facing and it was still loud enough to wake us up).
Hotel is well appointed, in a great location just off Broadway and a block from Time Square. Superior Suite met our needs in having two sleeping areas with a teenager being with us. Hotel was clean and well kept, staff were all lovely and did everything they could to help (even a free bottle of wine for my wife) and the atmosphere was relaxed and very comfortable.
