Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It was great. Yes it’s contactless and there is no one physically running a front desk but it’s not difficult to check in or get your key, it’s just entering a code. Very clean, quiet and great location.

The information was sent by text message to my phone and it's not always easy to use the phone in another country. I did have a local eSIM installed but only for data. I would suggest that whatsapp is used in the future or email.
The place was very nice and very well organised. It was so easy to check in with the instructions received. The room was spacious and clean.

Everything! This was my second stay & it was wonderful, no issues. I sent a message when I ran out of Kleenex & was directed to the room which had additional supplies. Love the keypad access system too!

I’m not sure the entrance actually locked after hours as I could get in without my card or code. Could be a security issue???
So clean, great shower, comfortable bed. A chest freezer was in the laundry room filled with buckets/bagged ice ready to use! ROKU tv too! Fun local bars too…on Route 66… Chubbies & 217 Roadside Bar!

Wish the bathroom had some countertop area for toiletries.
The room was very clean and comfortable! It was quiet, outside of highway noise but thats expected being right off the interstate...and very large parking lot! There are 2 convenience stores, diner, and dairy queen very close by. I will stay here again!

The check in was hard to understand, I had to call the number to receive the confirmation number to get the room key.
I liked the fact that it had a refrigerator and microwave in the room (cleaned!) I told the cleaning staff that they did a really good job on the upkeep.

It’s all great.
This place has been newly remodeled and an outstanding job was done. It still smells new and is beyond clean. It’s a self check-in to get your key cards but it’s super easy to do. As soon as you book online you get the codes for check-in and codes for exterior doors. You are also informed how to get human help if needed. Apparently there is someone on-site until 10 pm. The room is spotless, the bed comfortable, and there’s a Keurig for coffee. I like the lobby area where there is soft, soothing music playing. It feels really secure too and there are Ring cameras on the exterior doors to capture visual and audio. Gas and food are a stone’s throw away. We are very pleased!

Room was a little smoky. Probably from previous occupants. Air from the vent was smoky too (probably from near-by rooms). No differentiation for smoking/non-smoking rooms.

We loved our stay at this property! All recently renovated, very well done, clean and comfortable! Loved the 50" Roku TV as well as the Keurig machine with coffee pods right in the room! Super easy check-in process and really good price for such a nice place! Will definitely stay again!

When we got there it did not recognize the code I had been given. The text I sent was not responded to for hours. Luckily, after I called and waited on hold for maybe 15-20 minutes someone did pick up and immediately corrected the situation.

This hotel has no front desk. They send you a text with a code to enter on a keypad to get your key. Seems a little unsafe, but there are cameras in every hallway and the front entryway. Without the front desk staff, seems like nefarious activities could take place. I would like to see how this hotel holds up over time. We stayed here for ISU family weekend because all other hotels closer to campus were ridiculously priced.
The hotel is clean and brand new, opening in Ju;y of 2023. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bath towels were new and fluffy. This hotel is one story making it easy to get to rooms.
