Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Nathaniel was very helpful to my friends and I! He tried his best help with a situation the best way he could, but it was out of the hotels hands. It was for booking to take care of. Nathaniel was so kind during that process! He made us feel like extended family!

the platform beds were really low to the ground (comfortable but low). The Bar was nice but very expensive.
the location was great... we were less than 5min drive to the festivities. Restaurants were close. the rooms were beautiful and very clean. We didn't eat upstairs at the hotel restaurant but the view in the lounge area upstairs was amazing.

The elevators were a little slow during our stay. We were on the property for 4 days and the elevators only worked well on day four.
Joy was my first connection with the Troubadour, and she represented the town and hotel very well. Friendly greeting, easy check-in, and recommendations for great dining. She even checked in later in my stay to ensure all was going well.

As is common, valet parking more expensive than open lot directly opposite costing USD30 for 24 hours but not as expensive as some.
Modern, clean hotel, very friendly and helpful staff who made us feel special as we were getting married two days later, picked it as close to City Hall but still only 15 minutes to French Quarter and 20 minutes to waterfront for paddle boat rides etc.

Beds were not super comfortable.
Room description was off. Our verfification from priceline stated that our room had microwave and frig. When I asked staff tgey stated that was not the correct description.

One morning we were late getting out the door and housekeeping came in. We asked them to come back after about an hour, but they never did. We had to ask the front desk for fresh towels and to restock coffee.
The room is nice, comfortable bed. Checkin and out was easy. The area is fairly quiet and the location is about a 10 minute walk to the French Quarter. I would stay here again.

I did not like the fact that there was no ice machine on the floors and had to go to the front desk to get a bag of ice.
Loved the roof top bar and also the view from my room was great! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Also the location of the hotel was perfect.

The last night and morning of my stay, there was no hot water. The entire hotel did not have any running hot water to shower in.

There is not a breakfast provided or even something complimentary to drink...this is only a problem bc the person I traveled with cannot walk long distance and the nearest food spot is almost 2 blocks away...
The location was great..the hotel itself is beautiful and I love that there was a rooftop lounge and also a leisure area downstairs.

Not a all kid friendly. No pool. One afternoon valet advised not to bring my son in lobby because the drag queen event was taking place. Because we had no choice, we made our way through lobby & the staff was great but it was chaos on every floor that elevator stopped at including lobby. Security did hop on with us & I believe he did that to make sure we felt safe which I was grateful for. I didnt feel unsafe but I was more concerned for the kids. I know some things are unavoidable. I should have done more research before booking so that's on me. If it would have been just me & my husband the stay would have been better for this hotel.
