Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

It wasn’t the cleanest place I have been to but it was in reason. They where some renovations in the hotel so in the elevator there was a terrible smell, hopefully this is over when the renovations are over.
The hotel has a good location. Close to the hotel is a stop for the free Miami Beach Trolley that can take you all over South Beach. Also the bus to the airport is close by. It is only a 15/20 min walk to the beach and a 5min walk to all the stores on Lincoln Road. Hotel is a good value for your money, nothing fancy but ok and reasonably clean. Nice pool only normal chairs on the pool side and no beach chairs for relaxing that could be an improvement.

I don't like the odors of the carpets of the aile.
I like the swimming pool and the attention of the staff.

The pool was a bit dirty and there is a lack of pool amenities like sunbathing chairs. The bathrooms lack space to have stuff as a girl.
This is our second time staying at this hotel. The hotel is walking distance to all the most important places. About 15 minute walk to the beach. There is a Trader Joe’s and a Publix close by. The main shopping street on Miami Beach is also within close distance. WiFi is good. The rooms are large.

The room was small and had a locker as the closet and the TV was so small maybe a 24 inch .

There was a lot of tiny flies in the bathroom. There was a fridge but it didn't work.
Walking distance to shops and South Beach. Easy checkin. Room was spacious.

It was a bit loud for moments (combination o neighboring rooms and it being in front of an ave). The rooms were comfortable and with lots of sunlight, but definitely not fancy.
Location and price tag was great value. Staff was very helpful too. I’m definitively glad to have found it and would consider staying here again.

Half reception staff wonderful. Half not so greatly.
As everyone has said excellent location, close to Trader joes a few places to eat and the beach. The trolley bus drops you right there. The room was a good size, the room was good all round. The daily maid service was adequate- they do not deep clean but rather a superficial tidy up vacuum and light bathroom clean. We were prepared for this from the comments. Pool was good, it was decent all round to be honest. The area is insanely expensive so compared to others I was happy with my stay.

Staff is very short, not too customer service friendly. They got the job done but not with a smile or a “welcoming feeling” you receive from hotel front desk staff .
Clean , rooms are a decent size , very nice pool outdoor area !

Pool closed 4-11pm. Toiletries poor.

The place, very close to the city and transport I personally recommend if you travel usa, rent a car because the public transport really keep time waiting and city's are really big with a lot to see.

The floors weren't swept before being mopped... that's the only thing I didn't like. I can't stand feeling dust or in this case sand on my feet that was left behind after mopping.
The location of the hotel was great. The stops for the free trolley and city bus were less than a block away. Lincoln Rd shopping was close by and Trader Joe's was right across the street so we could easily pick up snacks and drinks daily to keep in the room or to take to the beach. I traveled with just my kids since my husband didn't have vacation time and I felt safe walking around the neighborhood with my 2 littles.

Strong smell of weed on the first night floating into our room. Pool closing at 4pm isn't an ideal time. No soap holders had to use the window sill in the shower.
Great location, was able to walk everywhere. For our 2 night stay it was fine but I wouldn't stay longer. Served it's purpose of a bed to sleep in and somewhere to hold your bags

No hooks or hangers in the bathroom.
Spacious rooms, Good location. Very friendly personnel, responsive to all requests (cleaning, extra towels, etc.). No frills, but good value given the price . I would definitely stay there again.
