Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustriaThe room service was not top. Everyday some items that had to be refreshed in the room where forgotten: sometimes it was the towels, another day it was the water, etc. We had to call the room-manager a few times to fix appliences that were not working.
The Hotel is located in the heart of Manhattan, in a very safe and agreeable district. Thee Subway is very close, lots of restaurants and coffe shops, Brodway and Time Square are just in walking distance. The Hotel has the charme of the old NY hotels, and staff at the reception is very helpful. The Hotel restaurant serves excellent meals and breakfasts at a reasonable price.

United States of AmericaNothing really. Always delivers. Always a fav place for us.
Great location for us. Easy to catch a train anywhere in the city from this area. 10 minute walk to Times/Theatres. Easy access to Central Park. Good coffee within 5 minutes walk. Randolfs is classic spot. Staff are great. Our fav spot from a cost/benefit standpoint in Midtown. Classic hotel.

GermanyRoom was heading towards 6h Ave -> quite noisy until midnight. Sleeping with ear plugs helped! The elevators were the bottleneck of getting into and out of the building, especially in the mornings it could take several minutes of waiting until one gets down into the lobby. The fitness "room" is short-equipped with several treadmills, some dumbbells, one tower for multifunctional exercises. Everything clean and bright, nonetheless. And hey, there is a room for workout!
From the beginning staff was very into providing a very pleasant and comfortable stay, every question was answered patiently and enriched with details, request for additional exchanges of towels were regarded no problem. The room we booked (3 adults from one family) was sufficient for ur needs as we just used the hotel room for sleeping, I guess regarding working guests with need for more space it would be not spacious enough rsp. there was a lack of additional opportunities for storage. Room was clean and cleaned everyday, furniture a bit run-down, but well mantained.

ItalyI tried breakfast on first day, never tried again: people working there were slow and weren’t happy. Dishes were too expensive, the service and the dishes weren’t worth of those prices.

United States of AmericaOn the check in I was charged $400 more than my original price and girl on the reception was rude . So I complained to management and got a call from FD manager and she explained it was a deposit for any accident. She was polite and explained clearly. But I think they have to provide this information for customers in their confirmation email and don't make people stressed out about extra charge ( and I checked - no information about that policy anywhere) They have soundproofing which helps not hearing your next door neighbor snores but it not really helps with outside noise. It's Manhattan 😬 so if you a light-sleeper ask for higher floor (we were on the 3rd and I couldn't sleep well any of 4 nights). But the room is large not the closet as in other hotels ( we had double beds which also not a popular option for NY hotels). There were no tea bags but coffee - maybe we need to ask. And our shower gel was empty but was refilled quickly after call.
Great location, better price than other, nice interior. The room is large -not the closet as in other hotels ( we had double beds which also not a popular option for NY hotels).

AustraliaWe had two bookings and it took a long time to get an answer from staff about our room and we were told inconsistent things by different staff members. We asked for a third glass for our room as we had three people but this was not able to be provided only plastic cups.
Room was very spacious and impeccably cleaned every day. Cleaning staff were great and hotel was in a fantastic location. I would highly recommend it.

Trinidad and TobagoThe room didin't have much of a view and the room lacked a microwave (which would have been an asset). The package receipt charge was excessive, especially for small items.
The hotel had a nostalgic elegance about the setting. The staff was knowledgeable about the area and gave assistance with transportation logistics.

United States of AmericaSuch a gracious and elegant older property has slow elevators and somewhat cramped baths.
We enjoyed the comfort of this gracious hotel and its friendly and welcoming staff. Its location near many restaurants and a 10 Minute walk to the theater- minus the hubub of Times Square were pluses. .
