The hotel " facilites fee" what does that even mean? The pool was closed and thete was a small workout room, we didnt use.

You'll notice that the hotel is a refurbished older hotel. Some parts still need some love and care, for instant the hallway looks very dated. The fan in the bathroom is sound like a airplane taking off.

The beds are very nice. The shower temperature was very constant, which is not always the case in some hotels.

Getting around the large facility can take some effort. The Noni Park Restaurant operation was disorganized. The food was ok, but getting it took more time than we thought was reasonable. The tv didn't work the first night, for all guests I believe, and then it was fixed the next day. And we had a frustrating experience when the front desk staff seemed to be having a personal conversation on the phone while we waited to ask a question.. it went on about 5 minutes before we were acknowledged.

Location was out of the busy Newport center, but still so close. Parking was super easy. Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We got a $15 food credit each day (comparable to b&b amenity), and we were able to bring food back to our room instead of eating with others (COVID precaution).

So minor, our one disappointment was the bartender in the restaurant area. We went in and had our complimentary happy hour drink, which was lovely; but we were planning on staying a bit longer. I ordered another round and seemed to be the only one at the bar there for more than just the free drink or tipping. We were trying to engage him in a little conversation - nothing. No personality, no pleasantries and it was not like he was busy and we were interrupting. it was just strange. You would think with hospitality and people on vacation he would be a bit more warm and lively. I would have preferred our check in associate to pour my drink and at least have smile. For that reason we decided to go to a bar outside of the hotel for our meal.

I love the beach mid-century, modern e electric decor and well appointed rooms. Room was spacious and more comfortable than an average hotel. The atmosphere was welcoming and the beds extremely comfortable. Bathroom was spotless, water pressure was great and we didn’t mind that the location was a bit outside of downtown, but close enough to everything we were there to do/see. The check-in staffer was so helpful, pleasant and deserves accolades as do the morning breakfast staff.

The plumbing is VERY loud. Each time the people in the room above us flushed or took a shower we could hear it loudly.

Michael at the front desk is very nice and helpful. The beds are comfortable and the room we stayed in was good size.

since we were there during Christmas weekend, food at the hotel was severely limited. the restaurant was closed during most of our stay. additionally, the room was always cold even with our heat on high.
