Initially we were put in a room on a floor where they were doing construction/renovations There was a builder sawing and drilling on the balcony next door We asked to be moved and they graciously did so, just not sure why anyone would be allocated a room next to all that noise & building work going on Pool/rooftop wasn’t open even though it was beautiful weather

It’s very expensive. As an Australian visiting New York (my daughter lives in a tiny apartment close to the Arlo so I couldn’t stay with her), staying in hotels is almost prohibitive. Perhaps a deal for a long stay could be offered?

The rooftop pool wasn’t open and the rooftop bar wasn’t open on one of the nights we stayed , yet we were still expected to pay taxes . The basic rooms are very small and offer not much bathroom privacy

The shower was a little annoying the glass door wasn't keeping water in the shower. But other than that I love this hotel I will absolutely be back.

I loved the room, but the room that was in the description wasn't the room I got. I got my city view which I loved but the room I got was a little more basic than I wanted. The breakfast was amazing 👏🏾 🤩 I'll be coming back just for breakfast. Absolutely add it to your room it's so worth it.

There were a couple of things I would have improved, though the state of the room was not very well maintained. I would also suggest providing even a small amount of toothpaste

My stay in NY was also special because of the stay in the neighborhood and the atmosphere at the hotel. Very comfortable and very kind staff.

The bathroom fixtures are all super high end (waterworks) but it feels like the contractor who installed them did not pay any attention. Almost everything leaks, is installed crooked, or not tightened. The shower glass partitions don't extend far enough to keep the rest of the bathroom dry. We had to be moved to another room part way through our stay since the room above us was leaking heavily into ours through the ceiling. We weren't compensated for the interruption either. Not even an apology. We got ghosted by the hotel staff when following up.

Lovely rooms and common spaces. Great scent in the lobby. Great location, quick walk to the L or G trains. Lots to see and eat in Williamsburg.

Expensive, which I knew booking the hotel, but I ordered a bucket of ice And paid $55 for it. Ridiculous! But then again I was there for a wonderful time.

You should have more knobs on the wall for guest to hang their clothes. We understand that the rooms are small, but think about your guest and make more areas for them to place their clothing. You do not need a full bar to take over the room. Putting on makeup with no lighting is not fun!

It Would have been nice to have had had tea/coffee facilities available in the room, the free coffee that was available you had to obtain from the lobby and only seemed to be there sporadically. Housekeeping was patchy too, some days the rooms were not cleaned and also mini bar in fridge was empty. It just seemed a bit hit and miss. Also waiting for the lifts in the evening was a long wait due to the fact the roof top was very busy with outside guests attending events at the hotel.

I liked the spectacular views from the balcony of our room. Plus the views from the rooftop were magnificent. In the room the bed was comfy and the bathroom with the blue tiles, marble basin and brass fixtures was gorgeous.

I wasnt aware of the rooftop/club (maybe should’ve done more research) so you should expect noise based on that, but it wasn’t too bad. The only downside to the suite was the the balcony door didn’t lock

The hotel is very esthetically pleasing, you can tell they put a lot of work into it’s design from the lobby to the hotel rooms themselves. I was upgraded to a suite and it was really nice! The view was amazing and my favorite part would have to be the bathroom. It looks unreal!! A lot of nightlife and places to eat Around the property as well

The waiting time for the elevators is terrible. During the weekend or at night starting from Thursday the traffic to the rooftop bars area increases a lot, affecting the room area elevator traffic as well. The elevators are so slow and so busy, that some days I had to wait for almost 20 minutes to go back to my room from the ground floor. Implementing an elevator for guest only in the room area might help mitigate this issue.

The view is espetacular, and location is perfect. The food at the restaurant and the pools are the highlight of the hotel for sure. You don't need to wait in lines to access the Water Tower bar and the pool bar view is breathtaking!
