Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaIt was too noisy for us. However, if you want a place to party, this is the right kind of place for you or just avoid the weekends.
Rooms are small, but that is to be expected. the staff were friendly and accommodating. Guests have priority for the roof top bar. It is one of the better hotels in Williamsburg.

United States of AmericaThere is no valet parking and no parking garage. We had to park a couple blocks away. The garage the hotel referred us to was full. The rooftop of the hotel turns into a night club at night on weekends.
Bed was comfortable. Restaurant was good although drinks were very overpriced.

United States of AmericaWe traveled for a weekend wedding with dresses, suits.. multiple days of clothing. Unfortunately, there was no way to unpack. The "closet" wasn't deep enough to hang our clothes and without a dresser we had to live out of our suitcases. All weekend we tired to avoid bumping into our suitcases and each other. When I mentioned this at checkout the clerk said "yes it's a small space for 2 people". It should be listed as ideal for a single person. I was surprised to find a room with a king size bed to be intended for a single. And lastly, the shower head was too big for the space. Impossible to start the shower without getting soaked.
We loved the location, restaurant and staff. After a long day we ordered room service and ate dinner on the balcony. French toast and pancakes delicious. The entire staff at the restaurant and throughout the property could not have been more attentive.

United States of AmericaThe beds were definitely uncomfortable and did not seem to be a queen size and instead a full size. The lighting in the rooms especially in the bathroom could be a lot better. If you are a guest staying at the hotel, personally we don’t think you should be restricted to how long you can stay on the rooftop by the pool.
Location of the hotel is great!

LithuaniaFor a 5-star hotel, I was hoping for some extras. For instance - a free-of-charge bottle of water is pretty usual elsewhere (at least in the EU), but here there's only the mini bar without a menu (go figure...). And the fact that the soap didn't have any dish to put it in and was sticking to the sink didn't feel luxurious as well.
Stylish interior, fantastic rooftop pool, comfy beds, and friendly staff. The location was perfect for exploring Williamsburg and Greenpoint. The ferry was pretty close too, so you have quick access to both Brooklyn and Manhattan.

United States of AmericaBooking.com messed up my reservation. I received confirmation of late check out and then upon arrival to my hotel, it became clear that booking.com had never communicated with the hotel nor my specific request. Disappointing, be mindful of this
Room had nice view of Manhattan but for remote work the space was a bit small, lobby was suitable for remote and appeared to be used as such during the day. Rooftop is excellent spot to start the night and close to main Williamsburg attractions and subway to Manhattan.

United States of AmericaI had some issues with the window shades and the door locks, which was exacerbated by the fact that I couldn't reach the front desk on the phone, so I had to run up and down the elevator to make any requests. A guy came up and looked at my phone and confirmed I wasn't doing anything wrong, but it was never fixed while i was there. Things worked out, but I was so exhausted from traveling cross country, I didn't want to have to deal. Also, the lobby is confusing to find.
The upgraded room was exquisite, the view amazing, very clean. The staff was very kind. Loved the pool reservation. A great place to hang out all day until I could meet up with my friends.

United KingdomThis is not a hotel to stay and relax by the pool. My neighbours were having a loud party until 2-3 am. I tried calling reception at night and a morning after - it was BUSY. The party at the pool area is heard in the rooms on all floors and is on every weekend day until 11pm. The next morning the pool area smelled badly because so much alcohol was spilled at the artificial grass, that decorated the area. Also the pool itself, the water level, is quite dirty - you can see the level of grease. some drunk girls were browsing at my floor. The bathroom is very much a part of the room, you cannot take a shower with no one seeing it. Although this is decorated cute, I couldn’t close the slide restrooms doors from the inside. I literally had to ask my boyfriend to help me close me inside the toilet - from the outside… like why is this…
The interior is nice. The food (breakfast not included) is not bad. The bed is comfortable. The pool area is pretty and fun for parties. Although you have to book pool timings, only 1 per day, in fact I managed to stay there all day on weekend.

United States of AmericaNot as close to the subway as advertised. It's also a bit shoddy construction/furniture wise - definitely built for the looks and not to last. The rooftop pool/bar had good views, but they wouldn't deliver my room service up there which I thought was super weird.
Cute hotel. Good location for seeing Williamsburg. Pretty good value even though the room was small.

United States of AmericaAs an older adult I was unaware that the hotel opened up to the public on the weekends. The hotel was a little too noisy and hard to get on elevator on Saturday.
I would have preferred a room with a view and balcony which my other family members had for the same price.

United KingdomService was patchy. Ordered ice to the room. It never came. Room serviced never before 5PM. Usually had to wait 3-4 minutes for sufficient hot water for shower and water pressure poor. Bar over charged twice for drinks. Hotel found it difficult to manage guest access to lifts with general public demand to visit rooftop facilities. Often had long waits as a result. supposed to be a 5 star hotel. This is not the experience we had.
Modern design hotel. Useful rooftop pool. interesting rooftop bar.
