The shower was a little small ….. I’m 5’7” and I couldn’t reach the shower head to adjust the flow. This really wasn’t a big deal just an inconvenience.

The location was convenient and the room was well stocked with anything that you might need in the kitchen. It was roomy and comfortable.

The room was EH Taylor themed but I think they just added a couple things and called it a day. There could be more to make it feel more bourbon. Also, with no receptionist on site, there could be something on the booking profile that says, please give us 10-15 minutes to process the reservation and provide access codes. I booked this while on the front stoop and with a little time for the hotel to process the reservation, access the property and room would have gone more smoothly than it did.

Love the feel of a one bedroom apartment with the full kitchen and dinning room table. Bed was very comfortable.

Hotel and bookings need to work better together. On bookings site it says no prepayment, pay when you arrive. That is not how it went and neither bookings or the hotel knew who was handling the payment. Outside of that it was a great booking.

Only thing that may need attention is the shower floor. It was a bit slippery. Might be a problem for older people.

Question - What comes after "B" for Bourbon? Answer - "C" for Class! This property should not be missed on your next Bourbon Tour! Historical property aged fine like the finest classic bourbon and hit all the sweet notes for us. Sophistication without being stuffy - this hotel is clean, comfortable, tasteful. Charming town with a gracious host. Easy to book and very clear instructions. We stayed in the Colonel Taylor suite and it left us with curiousity about exploring the entire Woodford Hotel's homage to the Greats! There is an elevator to help you move your luggage which is a bonus in historical properties. Eric was very kind and helpful with great travel tips. We will absolutely be back next year for our annual trip. Thank you for the great memories. It was an honor to stay here.

We were more than pleased upon entering the Woodford Hotel, especially when we saw the Wild Turkey room. It was perfect! Our daughter loved having a room to herself and loved the television on the wall. All the furniture was super comfortable and clean! The small kitchen area was ideal for our stay. The location was amazing and we found a delicious pizza place, just across the street and a quaint bourbon bar for a night cap. We will definitely stay at the Woodford Hotel again!

There is plenty of parking in front of the Hotel and easy access elevator for those that don’t do well with stairs. The room was so nice with everything you could possibly need including a tea kettle for the tea lovers. I would highly recommend this especially for a work trip as the bed is so comfortable! There is so much natural light, it’s perfect to work in.

Location is great….place is so clean and beautifully decorated. They have thought of all the extras you might need (extra plugs at bedside, fan, sound machine, etc). Most comfortable stay we have had in a long time!

The room is a luxurious suite that captures the essence of Kentucky. The bed was so comfortable, the sheets were heavenly, and the room was very quiet to street noise. The elevator was great to have with my limited mobility. The personal touches makes all the difference!

Well I would recommend they have a luggage cart by the front door for the guest to put there luggage on. Also we had a bat in our room. I called the owner and he sent over a maintenance man and he could not find it. Then the owner moved us to a new room. Now we are moving out things at 11:00pm. The maintenance man just sat on the couch and watch us move our things out of the suite. Now I am paying 389.00 a night and I expected more from the owner. The owner told me on the phone that it was Bat season. Never heard of that, and not to kill the bat it is protected by law. We left a few items in the room that had the bat and did not realize until I got back to my sister home. No one even text or call me to see if I wanted them ship to me. I received not discount of any kind on my stay. I was there for 2 nights.

The shower was lukewarm and could not be made warmer. This appeared to be intentional. The queen bed was so close to the wall that we needed to move it for comfort.

The living room was large and comfortable. It was what the picture on the net indicated.
