The internet on the last floor didn’t work but we could enjoy the time without it.

The location is perfect! The hotel is very nice and with stylish furnitures you have the impression to move back in time!

    Nothing

Nicely kept historical house. Bed and linens very comfortable. Excellent service - very nice and welcoming. We took the train, transferred to subway outside train station, then walked only a couple blocks to the Bed & Breakfast.

Due to the historic nature of the building, the room and bath were very small. Room contained only the bed and one straight-backed chair. No desk or table on which to work.

The location was its main appeal for me. The one staff person I met was very warm and helpful.

Nothing. No complaints or concerns at all. I did book the smallest room, and I'm kind of tall, so space and movement was a bit awkward at first. I knew that when I booked the room, though, so it's not really a negative or a complaint. Solo travelers sometimes deal with that. Just be prepared, and read the room descriptions.

I booked a room here specifically to stay within walking distance of a series of events that I was attending. It was the most reasonably priced option in that area for the days of my stay, which was the other reason that I chose it. That said, the overall experience was fantastic, and I would choose to stay there again just because it's great.

Our room was nice, but the stairs were a challenge after exploring all day. It is doable but can be a lot for some folks.

The location is great for walking to great places to visit. Getting around was easy. Parking was available nearby. The food choices were plentiful. My stay was too short to thoroughly explore but, I hope to visit again. The accommodation was quiet, comfortable, and cozy.

The building is really old. Didn't bother me, but climate control is not as modern as you would find in a chain hotel. We needed to keep the window open to make sure it was cool enough. Slightly uneven shower as well. I'm just being open---but I love the place even with these little issues.

What a sweet place to stay in Philly (my favorite city). A genuine historical property in the oldest part of town. Excellent staff, providing a welcoming experience and a lovely breakfast. Great decor really adds to the charm. Reasonably priced garage next door (26 bucks a day I think). I would definitely stay there again.

The trek up to the 3rd floor with our bags...however, the stairwell was a part of the great colonial decor..

The continental breakfast was more than adequate giving multiple choices in which to choose for our breakfast.
