I like the fresh coffee they make every morning. The vibe is cozy and chill. The lobby is inviting. The rooms were clean. The bed and pillows are comfy. There is hairdryer and , microwave in the room.

This is how hospitality is supposed to be. Extreme friendly frontdesk lady. Super cozy clean rooms with silence and fresh air at night. Very good bedding and large clean shower area. One of the best places we stayed in Colorado Thank you!

It was unusually stuffy that night- it was quite cold outside like below 30 degrees, but too warm in room. We had to run the a/c unit all night. There was no breakfast provided.

This room was very clean, and the lady who checked us in inspected the room before she let us have it. It had a cute mountain vibe, beds were comfortable. They had good coffee in lobby as well as teas and hot chocolate. They also had a gas firepit with smore kits to roast on the fire. And they provided rags and window cleaner to clean car windows. Also very close to Hot Springs Pools, which we recommend doing, very nice on tired traveling bodies.

The hotel itself was perfect for us. So this has nothing to do with that. The only thing I did not like is people driving by so fast on the main road which is right in front of the hotel. Just something to consider because it can be a bit dangerous when backing out and heading off in either direction. If folks aren’t slowing down into town as they should, they will come barreling around a sort of blind corner as you are backing out.

Julie was so welcoming as soon as I stepped into the front office to check in. After driving from Moab with a one year old, seeing a smiling face offering you hot chocolate, coffee or tea while getting you set up is really wonderful!

That I only stayed one night, a 2-3 day is recommended to enjoy recreation + nearby hot springs

Only a one night stay, but I really enjoyed the room. It feels like thought was put into a lot of the elements of the stay, from the smores to the coffee / tea selection. The room is not humongous, but I found myself comparing it to my stays in Japan, where the space was maximized.

Walls are thin and you can hear the neighbours.

Great property and very close vicinity to tourist attractions. There’s a nice river right behind the property and a great walking trail around. Loved the free smores in the evening.

Nothing really. We stayed there for a day and everything worked well. Maybe the sign to the first floor parking could have been a bit better, the entrance to first floor rooms are through a RV park.

The location was perfect and the staff at the lodge were excellent. Ms. Cheryl was awesome and showed us around the place and gave us the brief run down of the best things to do in Ouray. The rooms in the lodge all had working thermostats, as we were worried about that in the beginning. The kitchen was well stocked and all the equipments were working well. We were all very happy with our stay.

The staff was really friendly and could advise us on what to so in the area. They were extremely helpful. The lodge is located next to the main road, but we hardly heard any traffic at night. It’s right next to the river trail, which is lovely.

The views were beautiful & the owner was very friendly & attentive. You can tell a lot of effort goes into making it a memorable stay. From the binder guide detailing food & activities in town, to the fire pit & s’mores, it was perfect. There was even a walking path right behind the lodge that paralleled the river & led into town. I just wish we could’ve stayed longer!

The amazing lady that checked us in was just wonderful!! We loved the fire at 6 and the complimentary smores kits. The bed was comfortable and the shower worked great plus everything was super clean. Best room for the price we have found!
