Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaIt would be nice if there were some hooks on the wall below the electrical box. There weren’t any places to hang things - towels or jackets.
It was nice to have a small kitchenette. Basically have everything you need in the tiny house.

United States of AmericaNeed a snow shovel left for the porch and walk way or clear it when the parking area was done. Needs a mat or extra towel for wet shoes inside. Floor around mattress could use some extra attention to detail, hair and skin flakes and bug remnants on floor around mattress area.
Location, Parking area cleared of snow daily, cozy and warm. Clean kitchen and bathroom areas.

United States of AmericaThere were blankets, just a thin cotton cover. It would have been so much better to have blankets and a duvet. I don’t like leaving excess heat on a night and it seems a huge waste of power.
The location was great for the event we were there for and for town. It was super clean and warm.

United States of AmericaI don't think I realized how tiny the home would be. I fit in it fine, but my partner who is 6'2" had a tough time using the shower and climbing into the bed.

United States of America--Con's: Not the cleanest (found hair in the refrigerator), virtually no WiFi signal, no handsoap for washing hands, somewhat pricey for being in a trailer park, no actual human onsite to help check you in. (Just an FYI, this is not a traditional hotel, but an AirBnB style short term stay where you are emailed a doorcode to enter the Tiny House upon arrival. I didn't realize this at the time of my booking on Booking.com, so you have to keep an eye out for emails that day of your stay to actually enter the Tiny House.)
++Pro's: Right off of the Main St in Leadville, 25 minute drive from Mt. Elbert Trailhead, showers, toilet, coffeemaker, mini refrigerator, A/C, microwave and Smart TV.

United States of AmericaWe never got the stove to work. Perhaps a small note explaining its instructions. In the same note perhaps an explanation on the TV. The downstairs bed was too high. It needs a step stool for people who are too short to get on it. Also, the window beside the bed needs insulation. It was VERY cold and drafty if you were laying beside it. We didn’t use the upper story bed because older people don’t want to climb a ladder. Didn’t see that in the description.
The house was conveniently located and suited our needs. The rental was very clean and well taken care of.
