Most rooms are very small, especially for 2 people (no closets to put away your stuff), Friday and Saturday the music is blaring from the rooftop bar, it might keep you awake if you are on the sixth floor or higher.

Some staff were a bit aloof but Nick was kind, helpful and made our entire experience enjoyable. Thank you Nick! We would be back for his hospitality alone. Rooms are VERY clean (how does housekeeping make the beds look sooo crisp?)

The noise. My room was above a downstairs night club. While I totally get staying in an area with lots going on. I could hear every word of the songs being played late into the night.

Sophia Hoenig is AMAZING. Please give her a raise of promotion. Helped me out tremendously and did it with a huge smile. Loved the food options nearby. Loved the ambiance and style of the place.

I didn’t like the ambiance smells which were coming through the ventilation, especially in the morning around 8:00 or 9:00. It made me cough a lot :(.

The rooms are very small and the photos make them look bigger than they are. I’ve seen other reviewers say this now, and of course the hotel has listed room dimensions, but this isn’t something you really look at before you come (for most people anyway, I think). We asked for a larger room and the staff were kind enough to oblige, but the rooms are way too small for anything longer than a day or two. The strangest thing was how ill equipped the rooms are - there’s no minibar, coffee/kettle, safe or wardrobe to put your clothes. I’ve never stayed in a hotel without this before, and it’s actually very inconvenient. I fear they put too much money into the club and lobby that the rooms were neglected. Lastly, when I tried to order room service they told me they are not a ‘full service’ hotel. I’ve never heard of this term before, but honestly it felt very half assed. Don’t get me wrong, the staff are very nice about it, but it just feels lazy. The price should reflect the fact it is not ‘full service’ and I don’t think it should be a 4 star as a result of this. To be clear, there is a room service option, but many other things are impacted by the ‘half service’ they provide.

The location is great if you want to be ubering to most places. It was also very clean and fresh.

The hotel has a famous bar upstair, so there will always be some noices til almost 2am. So if you can sleep easily, that will be okay. But if not, this is the point that you should be considered. (We stayed at 4th floor).

Great location particularly since we were going to the Chinese and Egyptian theaters so much. I got to use the gym facilitys too, and they were in fine condition.

They kept bothering me with SMS messages. The was no proper chair, only a little stool. They keep saying to ask for anything and they are there to help, but they couldn't even find a reasonable chair.

Pretty noisy from the rooftop bar at night.

Great hotel in a pretty calm street in the hollywood-area. Very clean and new, loved the rooftop pool. Would definetly stay here again.

The only real complaint would be the noise from the bar/bars on the rooftop and the next building. Very loud and disruptive until 2am every night, so if you can’t sleep through noise, you probably shouldn’t stay here.

Didn't have the breakfast - wasn't included or didn't see where it was. The entrance area smelled so strongly of perfume pumped out of a machine every day. The pool was a bit too cold to swim in. Would have been nice if the bar and rooftop restaurant were open earlier than 6pm.

Great decor, nice rooftop area to work and relax in with taco truck and cocktails overlooking the Hollywood sign. Easy to get around LA. Nice staff, great wifi and small but clean rooms.

The room was super loud facing the street below which made for a horrible sleep. The smoke alarm was directly above the bed which had the light shining directly in our faces. Lovely place though if you were to stay you would look for a room off the street.

May be too loud for some people. Parking is overpriced as everywhere else in LA, so no surprise there.

The hotel is quite noisy on weekends, we had read the reviews so knew to expect it and we were mostly able to sleep through it, but it is worth mentioning. We were on floor 4 of 8 and it was quite loud on Friday night until around 2am with the music from the rooftop and noise from the street below. That said, the rooftop bar is very nice and is one of Time Out’s top 10 rooftop bars in LA so if you’re up for partying I’m sure it would be fun. A few other minor things: we weren’t given much information at check in, i.e. we weren’t told about the social hour complimentary drinks, any of the facilities, what floor the room was on, etc. It would be nice if they made it clearer how to get up to the rooftop bar in the evenings, we took the elevator up but there were barriers stopping you from exiting the elevator when you got up there which was a bit confusing. No iron/ironing board in the room, although there was a steamer.

Great location, very close to Hollywood Blvd. Really nice lobby area, complimentary drinks at social hour and coffee in the morning. Clean and comfortable rooms with very good shower. Generally friendly staff. Cool rooftop bar.
