There were only a few things I didn't like about the hotel. It could use a small remodel. Nothing major but some new paint on the hand rails would definitely make the place look much better. They did not have a ice machine. The worst thing about the place was the rooms cleanliness. We actually watched the cleaner use the same mop in three rooms and never clean the mop out. The cleaner was also on his phone the whole time. So my wife cleaned the room herself. However besides the room not being clean I can't really complain. I think the location and view made up for the room being dirty.

The things I enjoyed about this hotel was the history behind the main building. The hotel also had a wonderful restaurant in the main building which didn't belong to the hotel. They rented the location. Food was amazing and the ambiance was lovely. The best part of the stay was the location and view. It was directly across the street from the beach and there wasn't anything blocking the gorgeous scenery. It takes less then a minute from property to the ocean.

There was a full kitchen but no dishes except a dirty saucepan and scratched up fry pan. The coffee pot was not usable with styrofoam cups. The tub didn’t drain so you were standing in water about to your ankles during the shower and the floor of the tub was really spongy. The person at check in was saying he only had 5 rooms with a king bed and everyone wanted a king bed and he didn’t know if we would be there so he could have given it to someone else. We got in around 6:20 and the room was prepaid so I am not sure why he said this. The king bed was big but very firm and it was not a comfortable mattress. At one time this was probably a very lovely motel.

We like that it was on the ocean and the price was reasonable. We were able to park in front of our room and unload easily

palm trees obstructed beach view water was not hot in shower until staff came and banged on the wall fixtures were uncovered maintenance need on door frames and chipping tub. pillows went flat with the least bit of pressure and staff said they didnt know where more were and wash cloths not provided

The place just looks old, but not in a fun retro way. It needs paint. The hotel and the beach have been hit by hurricanes. The beach is literally across the street, but there is very little beach left at this point.

The price was good for the area. The staff were very pleasant. The beds were comfortable.

The water pressure was absolutely horrible and this seemed to be a little of a party motel.
