3 issues that need to be addressed are: 1. Dead bolt on door was not in working order. Housekeeping had the door code and because I couldn’t lock the deadbolt, they walked in on me on check out day at 9am with no warning. Scared me to death! Checkout wasn’t until 10. 2. Didn’t like the slatted doors from the bathroom to the bedroom. Provided no toilet privacy. 3. When we got there in the middle of the night, it was great to see security guard walking around, however, he had no idea how to get us to our room. He kept telling us it was on the 1st floor even though we kept telling him we were in 1150. He even walked us to room 150, said this is the same as 1150, and tried to open that door at 2am. He told us “I’m sorry, it’s my 1st week here. I don’t really know my way around” about 6 times. We finally left him and found our room on our own. A couple of very minor fixes could have made this am absolutely perfect stay. Other than these very minor issues, our stay was wonderful! If the deadbolt was fixed, I would definitely stay here again!! (We would, however, prefer a private toilet room, but that’s just us 🤷‍♀️)

Pool was really dirty, but it was the end of the day already, so it was expected. Not much to complain about.

The unit was very clean and tidy. Comfy bed in the master bedroom. Beach was very accessible. Very nice view of the Beach-unit located on the 8th floor.

They don’t tell you about the beach until you already made your reservation, the beach is privad but they have it all occupied by rentals or owners space, the guests area is away and it feels weird to be sectioned like that. Also they should be clear about not letting you put a tent on the beach, our 10x10 say thanks for the ride but would have loved seeing the beach lol, we had to buy un umbrella there because is the only think u can use in the beach. Still give them a great review because that’s something small compared to the great experience

The apartment is amazing , big, comfortable and amazing view! The people from VACASA was really nice and clear all the time. the resort is beautiful, the pool, grill area, even the walk to the beach is nice

Nothing that I can think of, everything was perfect.

The location, amenities, staff, cleanliness, it was all just amazing!!! I’ve been coming to Destin for 20 years and this is the best place I have stayed! I will continue to come back to Tops’l and recommend it to everyone I know! They saved our vacation!

I wish the beach was closer on the resort. If you have kids and many items...a cart is a must! I’m so happy we had one otherwise that walk to the beach would have been brutal. It’s a nice little distance. They do have a shuttle service but in my opinion It’s better to walk. Also wish the restaurants on the resort delivered like room service.

My family and I really enjoyed this resort! I thought it was too good to be true when I booked it after looking at the photos but It’s true. Everything in the photos are accurate! Nice, clean, relaxing, beautiful, resort.

Dryer never got fixed. The condo was ready but we couldn't check in when we arrived. Pickleball not included

The bed was too soft and wasn't very comfy. We had drain fly's in the mast bathroom that supposedly were taken care of, but they really weren't. The tub drainage was garbage because any time we showered the water would stay dormant and take forever to drain. The night before our last stay, there was no water in the tank of the toilet, so we were down one bathroom. Oh and the Wifi didn't work! Oh and I already do this, but for other travelers.. Wash all utensils/cookware and flatware prior to using.. I found lipstick stains on some of the coffee mugs (GROSS). Had all those things been fixed I would've been happy. Other than that everything was great!

Location was nice, it was away from all the traffic. Comfy couches, washer/dryer, kitchen with basic utensils and cookware.. extra towels.. The comfort level as far as the ac/fans was awesome! The place was pretty clean as well.

Having to wait 45 min to get in room because housekeeping didn't have it done. Then on last day housekeeping just walks into room while we were there. No knock on the door or anything.

The dryer did not dry the clothes, it too nearly 10 hours+ to dry 3 small loads and the third load we had to put in a bag to bring home with us still damp. The stools were/are very wobbly. And after calling to report the issue with the dryer Sunday morning no one never showed up to fix the issue. I was told when I rented that it was beach front....definitely wasn't beach front.

This was my first time to ever rent a condo, it was just okay definitely wasn't worth the money I paid for barely 40 hours. The beach view was very nice.

It would have been nicer to be on the beach and not just near the beach. To pay this kind of money, this building should have been on the beach, not just within walking distance.

The only thing I didn’t like was that I was washing dishes on the sink and water was coming out from the washer. I immediately call the front desk and they said they couldn’t do anything about it. You would think they would have a maintenance 24/7. One more thing I didn’t like was that we weren’t able to open the slide doors front the living room.
