Wifi was discussed like it was something wonderful at check in. There was no wifi in the room or anywhere else on the property that could be connected with. If you advertise wifi, you need to have wifi! We choose hotels based on amenities. There was also no chair at the "desk" in the room. Cleanliness was "ok," but could have been better. Corners matter!

Check in staff were wonderful. It was a nice process. They even helped me find the right room. Great views from the porch out front. Nice picnic tables to snack at.

It was 19% outside and inside my room when I arrived. It took that heater 2 hrs to heat my room. I will remember in the winter to ask them to turn the heater in my room before I arrive. There was no coffee maker or hairdryer so come with your own.

The bed was uncomfortable. Bathroom needed a little bit of attention. Tub/shower was a little scary to get it and out of. Tub was "OIL CANNING". There were no chairs in the room... had to sit on the bed to watch tv or read.

The room reeked of pet pee. We stayed in the same room a handful of months ago and it was a clean and comfortable room. This time we walked in and were immediately hit with an overwhelming pet odor smell. We brought our small dog, so I understand that we were put in the pet friendly room, but the smell was awful. We ended up running the AC unit and keeping the window open all night and that helped a bit. I think it's a shame that people let their dogs pee all over other people's property! Otherwise the room was a good size, with a massive TV and a nice hot shower!

The staff is incredibly sweet and pleasant! Easy process to check in.

The carpets were disgusting. The sheets had stains and looked like they hadn’t been washed.

10 am check out time was a bit early for me. When I am on vacation I like to take my time in the morning. The king bed had some sharp edges and the bed was tightly fit with the walking space to the bathroom. I banged my knee on that sharp edge twice and from the way the edge was scraped off, it seems that I was not the only person who has run into this before (literally). This is not so much a dislike, but more of a surprise. The hotel called me to confirm the reservation and they asked me if I would like to upgrade to a cannabis friendly room for $20. I had never been asked this question before and so was a little surprised. I was sitting outside my room for a while in the evening and once in a while I got a whiff of somebody smoking their favorite recreational/medicinal drug. Don't want to judge here and it really didn't bother me much.

Good value for the price you pay. The place is a little dated but the room was nice and clean. The bathroom looked updated and that is all I needed for a one night stay. Not a place I would pick for a vacation but that was not the purpose of my stay. I also liked the fact that they have refillable containers for soap, shampoo and conditioner. Most hotels these days use single use plastic bottles and mini soap bar, which I don't like. The wall mounted TV was probably the biggest I had ever seen in a motel but I didn't end up using it. :-)

The room was clean, the bedding and towels were new, fresh and clean. Nice table and chairs outside the room. Very friendly mom and pop atmosphere. The room was small. The sink and tub and bathroom tile show their age with some chips and cracks. It is a quiet comfortable place to stay. I will stay there again.

The rooms were slightly dated, and they didn't have cable during our visit but we just grabbed a cheap HDMI cable from the Walmart across the way so we could stream. Definitely recommend a fire stick or HDMI cable.

We honestly enjoyed our stay because the staff was friendly, the area was quiet and the rooms are 420 friendly so it gives you a safe quiet place to relax.

Being a bit of a hygiene freak, the room wasn't "spick and span" in my opinion. (Sticky desk, carpet looked untidy.) Not the motel's fault: Be aware that if you do not have your own car: there is no Uber or Lift in this area to get you to downtown Trinidad. Your only option would be to walk to town (48 minutes), but there are some bears in the area so beware!

No frills 420 friendly motel. The staff were super friendly and nice even though I only met them a few times. They were very helpful in replacing the coffee machine. Given the set up of the accommodation (motel) chance are good you will meet and get to talking to fellow travellers and hear some interesting stories. Note: this is a 420 friendly motel with dedicated 420 rooms. So if you're into that you definitely will be at home here!

Room needed paint and new carpeting. I spoke with the maintenance man and he stated that the rooms in our section were scheduled for repainting and carpet cleaning. Heavy rains turned the parking lot into a swimming pool!
