Location. It’s a good location for transit to airport but to see Miami, it’s too isolated. No tour buses were passing during our stay and there were no shops around but a sopping mall is very far. No public transport nearby too.

A shuttle that runs late into the night.

The room was great, very comfortable and clean. They had an excellent hot breakfast, a nice restaurant in the hotel and another one with live music one block away. The only downside was that the shuttle from the airport makes its last round at 9:30pm, so my friends had to take a taxi from the airport.

The whole breakfast experience was very underwhelming for me personally. The selection I felt was poor. Though others in my travel group were happy with it. and there was also not enough seating in the breakfast area at all.

The rooms were lovely and I liked the fact there was a mini kitchenette in the rooms. Rooms were very spacious The location for getting to the airport and the cruise port is brilliant. Staff were really lovely and helpful.

NOTHING TO DISLIKE ABOUT THE PROPERTY. Our only concern was receiving an email to say our valid card had declined our payment on the day of arrival and we were on a 10 hour flight from the UK so had no knowledge until we landed and were on our way to the hotel. The email mention booking could be cancelled Our bank was obviously being very security minded. We confirmed with our bank that the payment was valid but was told it may have to be taken again. We do think if they want to take money before you arrive a date should be put into payment details and if things go wrong you are still on home ground to sort it out

The young lady at the bar was not welcoming or friendly at all. In fact we left because we could not even get a drink from her. There was only six people in the bar!!

The property was a little far from downtown. Uber wasn’t bad but on a busy night like new year’s eve it can be difficult. Is fairly close to Little Havana though which is nice.

I reserved and prepaid for a room with 2 queen beds. We arrived as scheduled around 1 am and were told that type of room was not available. Were offered 2 separate rooms with a queen bed in each however decided on one room which would keep us together. Disappointed that the pre paid room was provided to another guest. Bad business practice. I cannot recommend this hotel for this reason.

The hotel shuttle really sucked. I arrived at the pick up location at 3.35. I figured that I just missed the half past the hour shuttle. After a 9 hour flight, and of course, the two plus hours check in and customs check through on arrival I was ready to get to the hotel. Another 45 minutes and no bus. I did get through to front desk via telephone, who promised me the bus would arrive shortly. A few more calls to front desk and finally the hotel shuttle arrived. I waited 57 minutes. Other hotel shuttles passed me 2 or 3 times during my wait. I was given sincere apologies by front desk. Since I saw front desk give complimentary drinks to another guest I asked for the same due to my LONG wait for shuttle. They complied. Thanks. Room had a slight odor as did other parts of the hotel. Otherwise nice. Clean. Bed was comfy. Oh, the 10 am shuttle the next day didn’t leave until almost 10.15 am. Shuttle is biggest complaint. A rattling carriage with a number of seatbelts not usable.

Did not eat the breakfast. Very fun Cuban cafe/restaurant less than five minutes walk away with good food and super friendly staff. I would recommend the walk. Front desk staff friendly, as was bar tender. Received immediate help regarding no hairdryer in the room from “what I perceive as supervisors passing down the corridor”. They were super helpful and quick to rectify the problem.

Breakfast options were nice. Rooms are really suites with everything you need including a counter top stove, refrigerator and microwave. Location is great as well. Walking distance to a bus stop, restaurants and bars.
