Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Tricky location to turn into from one direction.
Very comfortable room with plenty of space. Reasonable breakfast and very friendly staff.

Coffee cups could be taken a look at. Card keys were very annoying. Went through 3 and they worked 1/3 of the time for room, pool, outside door.
CLEAN, dog friendly!, hot tub/pool available, breakfast (GOOD COFFEE, - BUT coffee cups may need rethinking, soak thru and heat does, also (lawsuit potential) not by me but litigious folks, staff are VERY FRIENDLY & HELPFUL. THIS is important because many places forget that customer service is EVERYTHING- EVEN IN 2024. ****

The counter in the kitchenette was a little dirty with crumbs. When I moved the coffee/tea bags there were 4-5 baby roaches that I killed. But that was the only time I saw any bugs. It wasn't that big of a deal to me because of the kitchen in the room.
The staff were amazing, so helpful and always did whatever they could if I had a request or a question. Also it was very clean Hb

When we checked in was told rooms would be serviced every other day. Although, sign in one elevator stated rooms are serviced on your 5th day of stay. We never received any room services (I assume due to our 5-day, 4-night stay) and had to ask for fresh towels at the front desk. Had to take our own trash to the hallway trashcan; which was no problem but with other guests doing this also the hallway trashcan near the elevators was always overflowing. Parking lot is small and there were limited spaces on front/side of building near guest doors if coming back after dark.
Shower water pressure amazing! Hot tub and indoor pool were great. Indoor pool temp is posted each day (was around mid-80s for our stay). Breakfast was usual Marriott hotel selections. Perfect location, not to busy and not too far from anything. Easy first floor elevator; there was usually always one elevator open and awaiting on the first floor. Breakfast staff was always so cheerful. Coin washer/dryer was easy to access/use and worked great. Provided tourist flyer options for town near ice machine on first floor.

The sheets felt a little rough. There was nothing else that I didn’t like.
The softness of the beds was excellent. The size of the room was perfect.

Not the hotels fault, but we did have a verbal incident with some teenagers at the pool late at night. They were so loud it was difficult to enjoy it.
Love this place. Always clean and friendly. Love the rooms with the kitchens. Pool is a very nice bonus

Part of the molding under the air conditioner was loose and exposed a hole in that area.
Breakfast was good and the breakfast attendant was great and friendly.

Numerous stains on carpet, looked like animal pee stains. Found a juvenile cockroach last day of stay in kitchen area. Our stay was for 4 nights, used the stairs to take my pup outside and the same trash was on the stairs the entire stay. I cant confirm, but looked like small dog poo.

I had my dogs and as they explored the room they found dried up food and pieces of toys. Dried food was even in the chairs.
The amenities and location was great. Staff couldn’t have been nicer.

Was not impressed that we accidentally left our brand new bottle of crown Royal in the room and it was not returned so there $36 wasted… I work at a lodge, I know the lost and found policy’s and it was not followed. So beware of accidentally leaving anything behind!
The room for the price was great! Walk through closet, small kitchen area, comfortable beds! Breakfast was the highlight of the stay, the waffle bar was soooo amazing!

They don't tell you ahead of time about the extra $200 hold they add on to the price of your room for 'incidentals' , which it was Labor day weekend so the room was already up there in price before checking in. You get it back but a heads up would have been nice.
The hotel was a perfect location, just 8 minutes to Wrightsville and a short 15 minute drive to downtown. Never had to be in the car long to go anywhere!

There were Hot Pockets left in our freezer and a wet hand towel was hanging in the shower leading us to believe the room hadn’t been cleaned as well as it should have been.
The property was in a great location for our event and the room was spacious and comfortable.

I saw 3 roaches in my room and that is why I didn't give it 10 stars. I know they are a frequent at the beach but I can't stand bugs and almost left after seeing the first one. And I did see them spraying for them so they do try.
The breakfast was excellent and the woman was friendly and always helpful and always kept the food flowing. The staff at the front was very friendly and informative. I especially liked the woman originally from Greece. She was always warm and inviting and just good to talk to.
