Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaI have frequented this hotel the last few times I have been to town, because the location is great and although the room is a bit run down, I liked that I had been given the same room previously, it was downstairs and close to the door-I have bad knees and asthma. It was cute, with a sense of privacy. However, this time I was put into a different room that was upstairs on the front side of the building, with a smoky smell and no cable. I called and they switched me to another room, room 225, with no smoky smell, but still it was upstairs. The bathroom door was broken off the bottom hinge, there was a fruit fly problem at the sink in the room, the faucet in the shower was stripped and after fighting with it for 15mins I had to go to the front desk and she came and helped me set it. Overall its a cute place, although the front/west(i think) side is outdated. Compared to previous stays at the hotel, this side of the hotel was not quiet. There was door slamming, people yelling/screaming every night, and there was some police activity in front of the parking lot one night, which had me uneasy every night after dark. I was there to tour a college campus, and spend a few days getting to know the area. And then I was there for 6 days, and not once did my room get serviced or was it offered, but I had to ask a Housekeeper to service it-which SHE WAS SWEET AND DID SO. I had a mental health emergency and had to suddenly checkout early, and was told that there is no refund for early check out if it's not before regular check out time-which I didn't argue, I just didn't know.
The staff was nice and helpful. And the bed was comfortable. The Halloween decor was CUTE. The housekeeping staff was noisy early in the morning but they were very sweet! :) Large shower. Clean fridge, clean carpet.

United States of AmericaThe room was weird, we had a hole in the bathroom door and in general it was a really weird vibe, but for the price it was quite fair.

United States of AmericaThe room had an old room smell that they tried to cover up with a clove scented cleaning solution. The oder dissipated quite a bit when I turned on the air conditioner and the fan in the bathroom so it was okay. Other people may not have found it okay, however.
I like that I got a room on the ground floor. It was very close to the venue I was visiting. It was at a very good price. The staff were very nice. The facility was old but it was clean and comfortable enough. Everything in the room worked and I was grateful for the air conditioning.

United States of AmericaBathroom door did not close (didn't even have a latch part of the doorknob). Bathroom door swollen from moisture. Fan in bathroom broken, literally hanging from the wall. Booked this hotel because we stayed her in 2019 and the room was good and the on-site restaurant was great. Both booking.com and the hotel's website still advertise on-site restaurant, but unfortunately the Bronx Eatery has clearly been closed for some time.
Location was convenient. Front desk staff was friendly. Hotel property nice and clean.

United States of AmericaThe hotel is extremely dated. The carpet is worn and frayed, and the flooring in the bathroom area has been patched with different materials (newer vinyl at sink, "mosaic tile" threshold into toilet area, and tile in toilet/shower space) giving the distinct impression the management only spends as absolutely necessary. Room was very small. Bed is probably three feet from entry door. Two guests parked next to my car left Sunkist soda cans on their bumper to use as ashtrays. Great that they weren't leaving a mess on the ground, but it was odd and seemed like maybe some guests were residing there on a more permanent basis. I really don't know.
The bed was fairly comfortable and the place was quiet.

United States of AmericaWe had requested a lower level room when we reserved. At check in I was given a 2nd level room without elevators. My husband does not do stairs very well, bad knees. I was told that Booking.com didn't give them the information. Even though I showed her my information on the confirmation receipt. Of course the hotel was full and she couldn't change my room. I had to carry mine and his suitcase up the flight of stairs. We aren't getting any younger. LOL
The check in gal was very nice, however the guy the morning was grumpy.

United States of AmericaOver priced for the obviously out dated facility. Clearly this hotel is old, and at some point allowed smoking. They need to replace the old dingy curtains and the cigarette burnt comforter. The place needs renovations. Should be priced similar to a motel 6. No breakfast due to COVID restrictions.
The hotel staff were great; very kind, welcoming, friendly and helpful. There is AC in the rooms which is what I went for during the heat wave. There is a small fridge in the room; this wasn't listed on the website, but I was happy to see it. Bed was clean and comfortable. Nice, quiet location with food, grocery and shopping close by. Coffee and tea available in lobby through the day.
