Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Lo shower water pressure,and water spills an into floor.

Loved the location. The property and pool(s) is beautiful and you can see they are in the process of updating the other buildings. A little more sprucing and it could be excellent. The continental breakfast had more than I thought it would. The price was reasonable as was the pet fee.

I would have given them a 10 but they are under new management and doing some renovations that will make it a 10 when complete I'm sure. The carpet in our room was really the only down side for me. It made the room stink and I went to buy air freshener. If the carpet is removed it should take care of the smell. The toilet was wobble and the seat was not the right size for the toilet but that was minor for me. They are working on the grounds for the property and I can see it being beautiful when they are finished.
The room was very clean. The beds were awesome comfortable!! It was a large room and we had a mini fridge, microwave and Keurig coffee maker that was nice. Plenty of towels and they have bodywash, shampoo and conditioner in large bottles attached in the shower (love that). The people at the front desk were all extremely nice and professional, very helpful. The office was nice and clean and the breakfast area was also, They have a nice little continental breakfast. Overall, I was pleased with the property.

Only 3 items to choose from for breakfast coffee, cereal, I can’t remember the other item. But it wasn’t much of a breakfast. 🙁

We made a mistake and did not request a ground floor room.There are no elevators.My husband has Parkinson’s Disease and has trouble with stairs.There was no iron or ironing board in the room.
The desk clerk was courteous.The location was great, very close to the entrance to the National Park.

The price was very reasonable, especially for a last minute booking. The lodge isn't modern and fancy, it's rustic, simple and relaxing with beautiful surroundings. The staff was wonderful at check-in and checkout. Room and bathroom were clean. Will stay again next time we're in Townsend area.

It’s quite sprawled out. We were in building #6, pool was in building 4. Ice machine was in yet another building. Pool was cold enough my 9 year old who loves swimming didn’t want to swim. Breakfast that was offered was cereal and toast. We opted to go out for breakfast.
The room was nice and clean. Very affordable, close to Cades Cove. Although Cades cove was closed due to recent storms

The room was very cold. Even with the heater turned way up the bathroom and living room area did not have the heat distributed properly. We were freezing at night and in the morning. There was a bunch of mold in the room and even looking in one of the pictures on the wall, in the glass frame you can see mold all over it. Woke up with a sore throat each morning. The resort itself is very tired looking. It has a ton of potential if the owners are willing to spruce up the units and keep the maintenance up. When we arrived to check in after 5 pm, the lobby was full of people waiting for their rooms and there was only one lady at the reception desk. I guess they didn't have enough housekeeping staff for the turnover from the night before. Luckily after waiting 10-15 minutes in line, our room ended up being ready.
Continental breakfast was decent.

The vent in the bathroom didn't work. We could have used more initial towels in our room.
The room was nice. It was plenty big enough for our family. The Inn was in a great location to be able to get to all the adventures we wanted to do while there.

The fact that they charged me an extra $40 for the dog.when I paid booking what you asked for. I already paid 20.

We did the family suite because we have 4 kids. The pull out couch bed was our main complaint. The mattress was not only super uncomfortable but it also had blood stains on it and was just gross.
Price was good. Guy at the desk was nice. It was a great price for our size family.
