Beds were not comfortable and very loud. Bathrooms could’ve been cleaned more often. Also there was sometimes no breakfast left after 10am although it is until 11am

Really nice interior and good to find parking. Also really nice living room area! Very easy checkin and checkout! Good location if you want to check out silverlake, echo park and Hollywood.

It can get a bit noisy because of Melrose Avenue, but nothing that can't be fixed with a pair of earplugs.

Very nice and cheap hostel, friendly and helpful staff. Free breakfast is a definite plus, and the hostel has a nice, friendly atmosphere. Easy access to metro line B. Loved all the plants!

Everything could have used more cleaning. Lots or hairs in the bedding and dust all around. Also, dead fish in the fish tank the entire time I was there :(

No overnight parking in the area. The only place I could find was across the street and I had to get up at 8am to move my car. It would be great if they could find a solution to this. The bunks were so squeaky, I could hear every movement from the other guests in my room. Definitely bring ear plugs and eye mask for sleeping!

The room was small. It doesn't look the same as photos. Room was facing street, it was a bit noisy at night.

Breakfast was simple, but good enough to start our day. The green room was nice. Bed was comfortable.

It’s annoying when other people don’t have respect for each other: calling relatives and watching movies without earplugs, starting at 6:45 in the morning… There’s a livingroom for that.

Had to shake some black hairs off of my bedsheet & pillow when settling in on the first day. + The showers weren’t always that clean: there was hair everywhere. (That’s just a personal ‘problem’ for me that I noticed very quickly, it’s nothing against the hostel, it happens! But maybe try and check the showers more often when it comes to hairs on/in the drain?)

Hosts are hardworking & friendly, location is great. A good place to be social and make friends if that’s what you want.

Not too many people to each room, plenty of space in the room for everyone to not feel like they're falling over each other. Locked doors at all times. Plenty of facilities to use. Breakfast was tasty, simple but good. I loved the flamingo room with the plant growing across the roof. People were relaxed and friendly. Fairly close to the underground station and laundromat. Just a great place to relax, chill and base your activities from.

The beds were not really comfy and very loud, everytime someone is moving just a tiny little bit, its super loud and the whole room wakes up. You can tell that the beds are not in good quality and have been used for a long time or they were just really cheap. The matress is comfy, just the bedframes are shaky, loud and didn't feel stable.

It was very cozy, the common area feels like the living room of a cozy home from a friend where you always want to hang out. The dormrooms were big and nice, the kitchen a bit tiny and no stove, but at least there was a kitchen so I don't want to complain about it. The bathrooms were always clean.

Coffee in the morning was the worst I've ever tasted! No milk or creamer provided. The hostel host was usually never anywhere to be seen. No parking available; had to park too blocks away which was a little worrisome.

Great location. Room was large with lots of windows (light, air). Bed was very comfortable. Lots of bathrooms throughout the hostel. Everyone in our 6-bed women's dorm was quiet and respectful of the others.
