Location was everything. Walking distance to anything you could need. I traveled alone and did not rent a car. The property was perfect distance to anything I wanted to check out. Owners super nice, checking in to see if I needed anything. Noise from main street loud, but that’s not the properties fault! Would stay here again in a heart beat. Felt safe and secure traveling alone.

Only downside was our first night there, young people in pool were very noisy from about 10pm-1am. No problem the next two nights of our stay.

Location is great! Downtown Clearwater Beach. Walking distance to beach, restaurants, etc.Parking is free, which is a great value in this area. The room we had, #4, was very spacious, clean; had microwave, frig, small kitchenette, small dining table, coffee maker. Bed was comfortable. Table and chairs outside door; pool view.

Very friendly managers! Great value. Excellent location. The room and furnishings were basic and not modern but clean and well-maintained. The TV was a flat screen appropriate size and had full Spectrum cable service. Very comfortable bed. If you want a fancy four or five-star hotel you will be disappointed. If you would like a comfortable room with a small complete kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, microwave, stove with oven and a good value it is a great choice. I would go back.

The room was much better then I expected. I was thinking it was going to be a small old run down hotel in need of repair but found it to be clean and well kept. Much better then most of the hotels I have stayed at in Clearwater Beach. Thanks

The only thing that I could find about the place that I did not like, was that our door peephole was painted over, probably mistakenly when they last refurbish the place. I was able to clean it enough to see out but other than that, everything worked perfectly.

This place was amazing. It reminded me of Grandma's house. If you're looking for a Marriott or a Hilton style experience, this is not it. If you just want to feel like you're at home relaxing in a welcome and friendly and familiar environment, then this is definitely the place for you.

The cute little pool in front of the property was really cold, but it was March, so totally understandable🤗

Tropical Sky Ranch is an adorable oasis placed directly in the middle of the main drag of Clearwater Beach. it’s quaint, dog-friendly, and family run, which is lovely to see in an area that seems to be overrun with corporate hotels. The room we stayed in had a full size fridge and small kitchenette that is very handy. Our bed was comfy as was the futon (that doubles as extra bedding) in the main room. Could not recommend this spot more for a laidback, retro vibe that pairs perfectly with a lively beach atmosphere!!

The bed/mattress needs to be updated

the location is the best thing about this property. the owners are delightful. it is an older property and we expected the wear and tear that was present. The mattress needs to be updated. we were able to make some simple meals with the kitchenette which was an unexpected bonus

Although the unit was clean, the couch was not comfortable for sitting, there was only basic TV, and the decor was a bit dated, but all clean nevertheless.

I liked that this is a small, family-owned old Florida kind of property. There are not many of these gems left in our area! The property is owned by a lovely elderly Polish couple. If you are on a budget andlooking for a no frills place to stay within a short walk (or bike ride) from the beach, this place will certainly "fit your bill"!
