Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I went on spring break so it was a lot of kids there, running around.
It was raining so we stayed inside but it was plenty to do within the building.

We had issues checking out at the kiosk.and couldn't find anyone to help us.had to go to another tower to speak to someone

Well for starters, the Starbucks in the Marketplace has an exceptionally rude worker. Not to mention both Starbucks locations close kinda early. I would take the starbucks out of the marketplace and put in a Dunkin Donuts. The maids are a bit rude when you ask them for something. I wasn't asking them for money, I was asking them for towels. Geez. The sliding door to our shower in our bathroom did not stay closed. ( We just dealt with it ) Hence the reason we needed more towels. It would soak the floor. The restaurants in the hotel are ridiculously expensive. I get it, it's a casino but geez louise. I noticed a lot of homeless ppl in the casino just walking around, sleeping at a slot machine. The security would eventually get them out. But, it seems to be an issue. The young lady working at LICK was rude, and forced us out for her to close.Not to mention they had expired candy on the shelf that they were selling for $6. it expired in 2023. Gross !! Check your dates.Our bed was sunk in on the one side. My suggestion some new mattresses or maybe rotate it. Point being the cost you charge ppl to stay in the hotel, everything should be exceptional and it certainly was not !!!!
I liked how big Tropicana is. It's massive. There certainly is plenty to do in there. Our room was clean and adequate for what we needed. it was also nice how many food options there is in the hotel. Sasha at a Dam Good Sports Bar is a sweetheart. Probably one of the nicest ppl working in the hotel.

I booked a one king bedroom which was wonderful the only thing is that the water pressure in the shower was not great ! Also the hairdryer was broken which was terrible
it’s in the boardwalk which is great ! The beach is right there as well ! Many drinks option !

Reserved a room with a view in one tower only to be told that tower is unavailable and was put in a room with a view of a brick wall.
Convienience to the boardwalk and the beach were fantastic.

Stinks of cigarette smoke from the casino, needs better ventilation like Resorts hotel. Also need more staff for hotel lobby, just took check in took me a HOUR because they only had 2 workers.
A lot of different things to do inside the hotel, you really don’t have to go outside to the boardwalk.

Needs an upgrade. Room smelled like mildew and cigarettes and it was in the non smoking section. Room looked old and worn out. Ice machines didn’t work had to go 10 extra floors just to get ice. Pillows very hard, bed squeaked. Paid for the late check out 3pm and room serviced knocked on door 4 times between the hours of 11am and 2pm
Everything was close and convenient. Many food options and entertainment on site

Early check-in comes with a fee and late checkout fee automatically gets added at 11am so be sure to leave on time! in my experience hotels usually allow you to check-in early at their discretion for free. The reataurants were a bit pricy inside the hotel, I supposed that's to be expected.
The Hotel is massive and has many options for food and drink. The casino is huge and nice to explore. the late night clubs/bars were good too both paid and free options.

We didn't like how big it was and the constant having to change floors. It was very easy for us to get lost. The staff saw us looking around kinda lost but didn't ask if they could help.
We liked the village marketplace setting. It had many different stores and places to get different things.

Chelsea Building not updated. Pool wasn’t filled, bar restaurants weren’t open on 5th floor. Looked dreary.
