Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I drive a flatbed truck. I had to park 2 city blocks away and walk. They offered parking for passenger cars only. SUV and truck was not accessible.
Loved the interior and the room.

Breakfast didn’t have much of a selection, and meat and potato mix was undercooked.

As mentioned, the breakfast needs some love. They could do a lot more than what is currently offered.
Lovely staff and great room. Slept really well and the shower was great. The breakfast needs some attention however, I didn't go hungry but it needs some love on that front. I had a great stay but that was my only criticism.

Because it is a more budget hotel the rooms are not carpeted and the floors had a weird stickiness to it which I did not love. Would recommend people to bring slippers if they stay.
It was located close to the Historic Third Ward which is the main tourist area which made it very convenient. Room was spacious and staff were friendly and efficient.

parking was not included and was an additional $25 per day if you wanted to be able to go in and out of the parking ramp.

Some public areas were a little dirty, but the room was very clean. I would like to see the elevator and floors cleaned because they were a little grungy.
The staff, especially Ty and Erin were amazing! They were so accommodating, friendly, and helpful. The location was great, right next to the third ward. I would definitely stay there again.

The bed was a little stiff. Other than that, we loved the room, shower, & the stay. Unfortunately, we have an issue with the facility where we have been charged 3x for the room. Once on booking.com., another time when we checked in, and again when we checked out. They are not pending transactions. They were taken off the card. When we asked the staff about the 2nd one. They said it was just pending & would fall off the card. It did not.
I liked the location. It was great. We could walk almost everywhere we wanted to go.

Clean and comfortable we came to the area for a wedding. And because we couldn’t get a room on time, we almost miss the wedding. I was lucky enough to get a room at the last minute but the rest of my family all had to come into my room to change their clothes and leave their luggage because they couldn’t get a room not even at 3 o’clock. I’ve never been to a hotel certainly and never a Hilton. Where I couldn’t get into a room on time.

Paying for parking. Should be included, or discounted to 10 bucks
Breakfast should go later to 10 or 11 am. Everybody doesn't get up early and have to leave or work. For those of us on vacation or had the next day off, it would be nice to get something, instead of having to wake up early and possibly hungover and then have to go out and buy breakfast.

All your reviews were right. They are extremely under staffed. Another couple we were with waited 3 hours at check in, only to be sent to a different hotel. They need more maids, and the meeting areas were filthy. The room was mostly clean, but you could tell the maid was in a hurry.
Staff was friendly, room and bed were comfortable, and location was great.

It’s not so much that I didn’t like this fact more that it was very noticeable how under staff the hotel was, at least the front desk area that is. Upon arriving to check in the line was practically built up out the entrance of the hotel. And as pleasant as the front desk attendant was I felt bad how he was left alone there. Then through out the stay it just seemed like guest were always waiting due to no one being at the front desk.
The look of the hotel and the room was very nice.
