Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The room we requested and booked originally wasn’t available.
Upon check in we were informed that the king room we originally booked wasn’t available and we’re given a double queen bed room instead. We had been traveling all day from Mt. Rushmore and honestly the staff made the stay enjoyable. I had stayed at the Tru by Hilton in Nashville so wasn’t worried about the room or amenities. Precy was so amazing at breakfast and Mark went above and beyond to accommodate our request with the trailer we had. I would gladly come back here to this location when visiting Salt Lake City.

Overall facilities are not "new." If they are, they have not worn well. Tons of marks and stains on walls in room, bathroom and in halls; dirty floors; tired linens; already in need of a renovation and basic maintenance; would not stay here again as not well maintained

There was not an extra roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. Good thing there were 2. 1/2 rolls.
The room was clean and comfortable. Nice and fresh/cool air. Great breakfast and food area in the lobby.

The staff was really nice and helpful! Also they called me before we arrived because there was a scheduled power outage, the hotel provided us "survival kit" which was really nice!

Even if I received an email form them through Booking confirming the rate of the room I was charge 10$ more. Obviously it is not the 10$, but the fact that nobody could explain why. Breakfast needs great improvement: we arrived 30 minutes before the end and everything was gone, even the orange juice…
We just needed a place to sleep before heading to Yellowstone. The hotel was great for that purpose!

I could hear noise outside my room and also the floor up from mine where children apparently were running. This was no fault of the hotel but made for some frustration.
Staff was friendly and helpful from check in all throughout my stay. The hotel rooms are spacious and modern with very comfortable beds. The breakfast was very good with a nice selection of items. The hotel has a pool table and games so it is very family friendly.

Very small room, we didn't have space to open the suitcase.
We only stayed one night before our departure and it's a shame we didn't use all the services the hotel offered (swimming pool, gym...). The staff was very nice. Varied breakfast but typical American.

poor window insulation while being on the highway + noisy AC, had to sleep with earplugs, but overall it was fine although I’m very sensitive to noise. Maid knocked on the door before checkout time despite having a non disturb sign on the door.
great value for money, sparkly clean, very comfortable room, free drinks and cookies etc and super friendly staff. the complimentary breakfast is quite good as well. This hotel was much cheaper than any others in town, but yet better than other hotels I’ve stayed in in the area and totally worth the price
