The front desk staff was not friendly. They seemed bothered when my wife and I asked any questions and were not helpful at all. The day we checked out the gentlemen at front desk had no personality and was no help. Only person at hotel that was very friendly and helpful was one of the women driving the shuttle van. I wish I remember her name but she should be working the front desk and the others should be driving the shuttle. For the amount of money you charge you need staff that actually understands hospitality and can answer simple questions about the area.

Noise from outside. I understand that some noise aren't controllable but It could be better if windows are a bit more sound-proof?

Everything was well cleaned. Few mins walk to the venue. Breakfast was very delicious and inexpensive.

The room was pretty cold, due to the tile floor, and the heater didn't heat the room well, so I was cold most of the time.

The bed was super comfortable! Lots of space in the room, dorm-size fridge. Had plenty of space for my yoga mat. Large, clean bathroom. Nice desk to work at. Friendly employees at front desk. I loved the black-out shades!

A bit noisy due to the air conditioner sound and un-isolated walls that you could hear any sounds out. Communications: I did not get information about the deposit in advance; of course it was refunded after 3 business days. It is not about the Hotel itself, but the neighbourhood does not seem to be safe.

No breakfast included. No microwave in room. Front desk check in girl needed some more training. Had to call more than once for shuttle pick up at Penn station, she didn’t call driver and tell them we were there. She had to reprogram my car park tickets 3 different days.

For city space room was enough space and clean. For city the noise was environmental but not loud. No breakfast included, so why ask about breakfast.

Shuttle from airport took FOREVER to pick us up, despite our calls every 30 min, and driver was not personable AT ALL. Didn't get out to offer help with luggage, didn't speak to us, no interaction.

The staff was not the most friendly and non-transparent. When I arrived to check in, the front desk person demanded my credit card without telling me how much they were charging me for or what it was for. The amount didn’t show up on the pin pad and when I asked for an amount and why they were charging me, they simply demanded my card again and even though I prepaid. It turns out it was for incidentals but the amount she told me was ultimately different than what showed up on my card. And if you book through Booking.com, they can’t help you with any charges, I was told but I always book through Booking and other hotels have still been able to show me what my charges are and even provide me with printouts.

The location is great! Perfect for walking distance to Prudential Center and to the train.

Restaurant said it was open until 12am, we were in the lobby at 11:30p after a concert and it was closed. Would be cool if they did room service through the restaurant as well (if it was open) I’d pay extra for the convenience and I noticed a lot of people were there for the concert / up late, they’re missing out on a lot of money that way.

This hotel became a favorite of my stepmother and me a number of years PRIOR to Covid-19, due to it's proximity to EWR and Newark Penn Station AND it's offering of rooms that feature 2 Queen beds; although, we have not always been successful in finding availability of 2 Queen bed rooms during our required dates. So, in THOSE instances we resort to other area hotels that we have become aware of. The 2 Queen bed rooms are comfortable and spacious and meet our needs and standards for comfort and convenience. The staff have always been courteous and helpful.

Housekeeping just walks right in to your room when your trying to sleep. They should have a list of rented rooms so they don’t just walk in?
