We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United States of AmericaThe rooms were not ready on time. For the price we paid for this hotel, we expect excellent service and accomodations. We wanted to enjoy some down time before the game and wasn't able to do that. That is very frustrating again for the price we paid. There are many other properties near campus so I'm not sure we will be staying here again. The coffee bar downstairs never had an attendant so we couldn't have drinks made. The breakfast was good but it took a long time to be seated and to get our food.
We stayed at this property to be close to the UNC Charlotte Football game. It's a great location and nice property. Walking distance to the field. The front desk staff were kind. The outdoor pool was nice.

United States of AmericaCheck in desk customer service was poor. The store didn’t have Anyone working in it. No bell men to help unload or load. Why have valet and not have anyone to help with luggage. Also, lobby on second floor and we had to unload get on elevator to stop on second floor to checkin. Then push luggage cart back on elevator to get to our room.
Restaurant was not answering phone.

United States of AmericaWe requested blankets twice and never got them. the restaurant stopped taking orders an hour early because of quote on quote large parties however that was not the appearance at all. the value is not good, 450 for 2 nights with absolutely subpar accommodations. our last visit there was also issues and i didn’t complain. the only reason we stay here is because my daughter attends UNCC and it’s convenient. never again, I will drive from across town instead.
The shower and bed were the only highlight, the young lady who checked us in was kind.

United States of AmericaWe booked our stay 4 months and in advance for my birthday visit. Showed up plenty early and we’re told our room wasn’t quite ready. Returned to the hotel after the UNCC football game and were told no rooms available. They blamed it on a plumbing issue (which was a lie). And that’s my main issue…just be honest and say you overbooked. Really disappointed!! They "walked" us to a much less expensive property and the front desk balked at me when I told them the next hotel "was no where near as nice or expensive as theirs". Came back the next day, because we were using the light rail and saw the whole Cleveland Browns team leaving ("all 182 of them", the bus driver told us)...so they gave reserved guests rooms to the visiting football team and told us it was a plumbing issue.
Good location. Just left us hanging when they overbooked. Essentially lied about why our room was not available.

United States of AmericaMy first night was horrible!!! The first room I was given was still occupied. I informed the clerk she gave me another room. The second room was still occupied as well. The third room was freezing cold. The maintenance guy came up to fix it. The manager on duty (a female) was avoiding me. The manager Chris eventually spoke with me and tried to accommodate me. Chris made my stay better and I appreciated his professionalism.
The bartender was amazing and had very good customer service.

It was extremely difficult to understand her as she spoke very quietly. I had to ask to repeat herself every single time. She gave us room keys and she didn’t activate them, we were running late for an appointment and it was just very inconvenient.

United States of AmericaHad to pay for WiFi unless you were a Bonvoy member. While I had signed up for Bonvoy a while back, I had issues with trying to sign in and never was able to do so. I took a jog one morning and came back hoping to purchase a bottle of water, but they were out and had none. A fellow guest suggested I try the fridge in their exercise room and thankfully there were bottles there albeit small 8oz bottles. You could buy sodas and coffee at the guest services area, but no water was available. There was no toilet paper in one of the restrooms by the exercise room. The power went out for an hour or so one evening on our floor, which was probably not their fault. It just compounded what was already a disappointing stay. Had to ask for more towels. There were 4 of us and they had two towels at first.

United States of AmericaCheck in was at 4 and we finally received our room keys at 630 and our concert started at 730. Then valet lost our keys which made us late for the show. Under staffed rooms not cleaned in time from the previous night on time. A high school kid could figure out staffing when you are booked for 2 nights solid. Valet had 1 employee after the show and 20 cars waiting to be parked. All and all very poor management of a really nice hotel.

The shower did no drain and the water was in the tub all night. we called the front desk twice and they said they were coming and no one came. we asked for blankets and bottles of water three times and no one brought it to our room. The service was poor and it was not worth 340.00 a night. We were very disappointed.

United States of AmericaFront desk staff wasn't friendly at all. They were very irritated by us using booking.com. and complaining about it. It's not the customers fault. When they had to call for help the person from the back was much more friendly. The two employees at check in definitely need to learn to be at the least friendly. Internet should also be free for the price that is charged and so should parking. The room was clean but small.
