My only complaint was the surfside shuttles from universal seemed to run a lot less than every other universal resort. (& after 20,000+ steps at the park while baking in the hot sun with 6 kids, 25+ minutes feels like an eternity) & by the time they arrived they were so jammed packed you were lucky to get a seat.

Rooms were exceptionally clean! As soon as we arrived front desk surprised us, and we were upgraded to suites!! The food court/cafeteria was nice and reasonably priced. (Plan for extra time some stations would have pretty big waits for food) Staff were all super friendly and there are several lifeguards on duty while the pools are open!

I think the room should have more lights - there were only bed lamps and one standing lamp there. Also didn't like the parking is not complimentary.

Room was comfortable with good bed and pillows. Location and quick access to Universal's CityWalk by shuttle (and also the early entry benefit). The room service was also very good.

The bathroom was a bit small. The Internet was intermittent in the rooms.

Great location and transport to theme parks. Good food court, especially breakfast. The suites are great for families. Comfortable beds. It had a good vibe.

My daughter was hoping for a hot tub, but they didn't have one.

The resort was a great choice. It exceeded all my expectations. The entire staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and attentive. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a family friendly stay.

They don't offer ANY king size beds at the entire resort, which I found incredibly strange and not super comfortable.

The noise! We were on the ground floor by an exterior door and it was very noisy. You could hear everything in the corridor and above you. Bring ear plugs!!

The hotel was a good size and all the facilities were well maintained. We stayed in a family suite which was a good size though there is hardly any storage for clothes so had to live out of suitcases all week. The food was excellent and a good variety mostly freshly cooked. The pool was warm and had many lifeguards which felt safe. Good transport to the parks with frequent buses.

Difficult to go out of the resort by walking. No direct way to reach Walgreens or nearest restaurants as we need to surround resort fences via parking areas.

There was always a queue at reception. This was particularly troublesome when we checked in after a very long travel day from the UK.

It was perfectly situated for Universal Parks and the shuttle service was excellent. The early entry to the parks was also a bonus.

The standard rooms should have a microwave or a location to use one in the lobby area.
