The staff were amazing. They really treated me as a very special person. I was concerned to have a quiet room and the front desk spent time showing me rooms that were available and checking if I would be happy there. Love that kindness and patience.

I understand that the hotel is currently understaffed. No cleaning during 5 days, despite an explicit request. The use of paper cups and plates at the breakfast did not come across as very eco-friendly.

The room is a bit oldish but has all necessary equipment. Good location if you visit the university.

The TV wasn't working in our room. The manager (Billy) who came to look at it couldn't get it to work. He said that he'd take something off our bill, but when I checked out, I had to pay full price.

Тhe old carpet on the floor, which collects dust, the smell of it, needs to be replaced, the uniform breakfast (scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausages and partially pro-European breakfast), the lack of adapters for using electricity for European and Asian guests in the hotel... the warming in the room with panels and the cold air flowing into the rooms themselves by the windows ....

Location of the hotel, quiet place and good connection with train and buses ... Nice and comfort bed ....

We were back and forth to OHSU. The hotel is very conveniently located for tram travel up the hill, and if it wasn't so cold we could have walked to the tram. Staff were very helpful. The hotel is fairly basic, very clean and comfortable, and in what seems to be a nice area. The price was a good value. Don't expect fancy shmansy.

The glass on the sliding door was so thin that a lot of noise and cold air comes right into the room. When we first arrived, it was late night in January, and it was so freezing in the room I thought a window was open. Also, there was barely any water pressure in the shower.

Tue breakfast was very good quality. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The coffee maker was broken in our room, and they replaced it immediately when we notified them. They also made a nice to-go breakfast pack for us since we had to leave very early our last morning.

1.) I don’t think the staff who checked me in liked me. She mentioned nothing about breakfast, check out time, or didn’t give me the cookie they always give when you check in. 2.) The photos show the updated rooms. I had an older room with old furniture. I mean, I don’t really care, it was a room to sleep in, it just didn’t match the photos. 3.) I understand Oregon is not in a drought, but why have toilets from the 80s that use multiple gallons to flush? Drought or no drought, it’s an unnecessary waste of water.

I didn't quite like the bathroom, it was a little creepy but it was pretty clean so I can't complain to much. The ceiling had some stains but that's being nit picky honestly. I guess my main problem was one of our lights wasn't working but there were plenty of lamps.

The front desk was very sweet and helpful, also got cookies which is always a plus. The beds were comfortable and clean too. The room itself was good too.

Thought the shower pressure/heat was terrible. Think they have restricted shower head so only a small amount of water disperses, meaning half your body stays cold while the other half is barely covered with hot water. So constantly having to move around to stay cold. Pillows were flat and squishy.
