Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Area it’s located in is a bit sketchy. Some intoxicated adults roaming the halls making noise when I tried to sleep.

My room keycard kept getting de-magnetized no matter in its sleeve or with nothing else touching it. Definitely needs EV charging which is a must considering its California. My rental was an EV because thats all they had available. So it would nice charge overnight. The bed while somewhat comfortable seem a soft for my liking. The shower is very slippery and they give a bathmat.
The location is nice…albeit the surrounding downtown is a bit rough. It’s very well maintained. Free parking. And the restaurant served surprisingly good food. There is a nice turf patio along the waterfront.

The bath tub was very high, and my handicapped mother had difficulty navigating her way to use with out help. We did not request a handicapped room, it may be different if we had.
The front desk staff was very accommodating with our requests and questions. We had special needs due our large party.

The location/neighborhood are a bit rough for walking around safely.

I wasn't happy knowing they didn't honor my requests in any manner. Why even put requests if they can't accommodate to half 😒. The staff was nice tho. And I was told that the Dbl occupancy has liberty to Waterfront views only!! I picked this hotel because of the view.. I will definitely put that in a review to others that may be traveling Single King rooms do not qualify for Waterfront views.. Food for thought
I made my reservations a month in advance, I requested a high floor & A Waterfront view, I got an ugly parking lot view & a middle floor. Its a nice hotel, nice staff, I left a gift for one if the front desk Clerks bcus it seemed she was not having a great bday... the room was good, however the Apt size refrigerator was a shock, but a plus & the Lobby Bar & outdoor seating was beautiful . A Perfect event place if needed.

Stockton is an economically depressed town with a LOT of homeless people. Seemed to be an open-air drug market along the river at night … no one bothered us but it was a little strange.
Full service hotel, purpose-built. Quiet a/c. Good beds. Lots of places to walk our dogs. Riverfront location. They are really trying.

We booked the suite and didn’t realize it was two separate rooms with a hallway in the middle. The living room was on the right and the bedroom was to the left. The A/C in the bedroom was not working very well.
It was clean overall. The staff was friendly.

When we walked into our room, there was a man, completely naked. The man began apologizing to us. We immediately left the room without any further conversation with the man. No one ever explained why the man was in our room. But the front desk gentleman immediately upgraded our room.
The hotel as a whole, along with the room, was lovely.
