Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Our room (208) was directly over the parking garage with their car elevator. Super loud when in use.
Decent location, but could be a tad loud at night.

Not much really.
The excellent location, close to a shopping centre, great breakfast cafe and short walk to South Beach. We picked this location as we were cruising and it seemed to be inbetween the beach and cruise terminal. The staff were pleasant and able to advise us on local cafes and bars. Reception guy made the best filtered coffee each morning. Room was clean, a bit small, but we didn't care. Comfy bed and good bathroom/toilet. Ate at the hotels restaurant and upstairs bar, great position and view.

Rooms are small, and sometimes water from shower leaks to the main floor.
It was a good nice little hotel. Closer to beach ⛱️. We arrived late in the night, and someone was there to check in us. We have also been given free champagne 🍾 as it was my wife's birthday. Overall, it's been a good stay.

Staff was amazing. Amanties were great and the restaurant served very good pizza. Location is perfect as only a few minutes walk from the beach, where they have complementary chairs/towels, and there are bus stops to go to Miami downtown. Recommended!

room was small but ok for two nights. bed not comfortable and huge noise from the road both nights that woke us up. In the hotels defence it was spring break and there had been a shooting on the beach the night before we arrived so there was a huge police presence/ roads closed.
good location , parking onsite , close to everything. restaurant beautiful - some of the best pizza we have ever had.

The ceiling wasn't painted, weird, and our phone didn't work and could not be switched out or fixed, so no room service.
Staff was excellent and friendly and greeted us with some bubbly, it was our anniversary! The little restaurant was too cute, and the breakfast was BOMB. Room was clean and loved the New York vibe it gave.

great location. The hotel is not massive but great for a stay in Miami with few frills. the staff was amazing; warm, friendly and very professional. They handled a broken bed situation in one of the rooms very promptly and moved the guests to another room. The restaurant on the main level is fantastic as well; great spot to grab delicious breakfast and/or pizza.
