Someone smoking Marijuana outside the room and we had to smell it in the room. Waking up at 730am and walking past other guest sitting next to the room drinking and just hanging out outside the room. Water pressure wasnt the best and no place for her family to come visit and sit.

The telephone did not work, and there was no help with luggage for disabled persons.

The telephone did not work. I am disabled, and the location was good for my needs, but some issues could be addressed, and a disabled person could help with the luggage. The phone did not work. The staff was slow to respond to emails, but otherwise, it was pleasant.

The carpet on the stairwell was stained and had not been vacuumed recently. The room could have used some updating but was very clean.

Jaccusi wasn't working. Shower curtain had a musty smell. Housekeeping never came and ran out of towels.

The water from the sink/shower smelled like sulfur and was undrinkable. We had to buy jugs of water for the room. The door lock was glitchy and would take several attempts to open the door. Our mattress was quite uneven - a large "hill" in the middle with deep depression on one side – not exactly uncomfortable, but showed some uneven wear.

This hotel is conveniently located just outside of the Venice downtown area and along a main road so it was very easy to find and navigate from there. The room felt safe and was well cleaned prior to and during our stay. It's not a luxury room, but was in good condition with all of the necessities for a comfortable stay. The pool and hot tub were great, and breakfast was reasonably priced and excellently prepared. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. Parking was free and convenient to the room entrance. Fridge and microwave were in good shape.

Hotel had good coffee available in the restaurant, and a good menu a la carte. The staff were helpful. The pool area and outdoor seating by the pool was the most attractive feature. It was near downtown by car and there was a bike rental and bike path also in short distance. Bed was good for sleeping.

It's the only place I've been to with no water pressure and noisy pipes. You have to change those shower heads with mildew on them. You should test all your locks as well. Mine was not locking so I had to confide in just the security bar.

The room incl. bathroom was old and not exactly spacious. One bathroom light didn’t work and neither did the bathroom fan, used towels stayed damp. The greatest source of disappointment was HOUSEKEEPING. We stayed 7 nights, so signed up for full service twice and TT (towels/trash) daily. Nothing of that happened without me insisting at the front desk. Both full services only turned up late afternoon after complaint, TT didn’t take place without complaining either. We do not accept damp towels and overflowing trash bins when paying the prices of Hotel Venezia. This was our 3rd stay there. There is not likely to be another one.

The pool area and jacuzzi are very nice. Breakfast: the buffet on weekends and the freshly cooked-to-order à la carte options on weekdays are excellent. The location is great for us: many restaurants and Venice historic downtown are within a 5-minute drive, Winn Dixie right across the street is very convenient.

The location and staff were great! The only problem was the squeaky bathroom door which scared and awakened my wife. You need to put some WD-40 on it.
