The staff were quite helpful. They management went out of their way to make our stay confortable and memorable. Everything we complained of were prompty attended to . For example, we complianed of lack of electric kettle to boil water to prepare infant mail, that was promptly provided. We also complained of lack bathtube to bathe our baby, the management bought a bathbowl to improvise. That was awesome. Kudos to Mike, a brilliant and friendly front desk officer, who always responded promptly to our needs.

One front desk agent was very grumpy and unfriendly. She did not wear a name tag or I would provide her name. She was there in the morning on Monday 4/1. Curly black hair. Never greeted us or smiled or looked up from the computer screen. Acted as if we were bothering her. Had no idea where the closest Metro station was! Your doorman were always smiling and helpful.

Room was well designed and comfortable. Appreciated the amenities and the staff who happily answered our requests for any additional items we needed. So appreciate being provided our early check-in after a red-eye flight to DC

Nothing though there could be more small amenities in the room. The door/car staff is a bit absent or slow to respond during our stays. Not sure what their mandate is though.

The property is well located close to DuPont and Logan Circle, close to food and drink. It is fairly modern and clean.

Stuff in cafe/restaurant was mixing up orders very frequently and was simply not welcoming.

Location and stuff at reception was nice. It was mostly clean, but there was some dirt in shower that suspiciously looked like mold and sun shades had some stains.

My only concern was the bed, perhaps a harsh product was used to clean the sheets? We slept great the first night, but on the second night we noticed the sheets were changed. My fiance has sensitivity to allergies but I never do. Despite that, we both then woke at night, sneezing and gushing snot and were unable to go back to sleep. After a few hours I was normal, but laying in the bed to catch up on sleep caused my symptoms to come back. I waited a day to see if it was really that bed or if laying down in general could make it worse, but I never had that reaction again. Again, I never experienced allergic reactions before so that was a rare thing for me. There was also a very strong chemical smell to the bed. Still could be wrong about all of this, but if the hotel is aware of a certain cleaning product being used then perhaps this will help you choose a better one. Best of luck.

Some minor wear and tear with the room and facilities. Just needs a good maintenance to get it back into shape. Rooms are noisy especially of on bar and restaurant side. Also can hear every pin drop from the halls.

The $35 daily 'destination' or 'amenity' fee for internet and misc is really an annoyance - why charging for internet access in this day and age?! Hotels should just build the costs included in this 'fee' into their nightly rates. I realize this is not a phenomenon exclusive to this property.

Cleaning was not done everyday for some reasons so we mentioned it to the front desk that during our stay half of the time the housekeeping was not done.

Hotel was clean, rooms not that big but comfortable. The location was good and the staff was very friendly.

The room looked like it needed some renovation. In the beginning they gave us room with half of window literally you can see the roof of building . After asking to be moved to another room, the staff reluctantly agreed.

The fridge was noisy. The pool area is small but still great in the heat. You can’t really swim but cool off. Wish they had coffee there too.

Very central but quiet amongst all of the fun at 14th. Big rooms wonderfully furnished. Great bed, bathroom and nespresso machine. Fridge with lots of space. Nice pool area.

Kind of a weird set up for breakfast - have to funnel all guests through single register to order and pay, then can go sit down or take away. Also fixed price menu for restaurant week was too weird. Scrapple in an omelette? Nope. But these are not showstoppers for sure. Plenty of options in the area if pressed for time. Pool service was fast and good though. Coffee was great as well.

High quality finishes and furnishings. Bedding to die for…great location. Awesome rooftop pool and bar. Friendly staff too!

We asked the front door folks for ice. They promised it would be right away. 2 hours later, went back down and requested again but also walked over to Shake Shack to get some b/c we had no belief the hotel would bring. About 30 minutes later, a wonderful employee showed up with 2 buckets of ice. We upgraded to a suite; expected better service. Understand todays issues though.

That the Pool Bar isn’t open on Mondays and Tuesdays and we checked out on Wednesday, so didn’t get to experience that.

The pillows were very soft. Breakfast at hotel is only available via a shop in the hotel: OK but not waw. Better to eat out for breakfast

The breakfast concept cause there’s no served breakfast neither buffet breakfast. There’s a ‘starbucks-like’ café where you can order your breakfast and eat in the restaurant. The service wasnt great as they got our order wrong twice. On holiday I prefer a served or buffet breakfast. The rooftop pool is super small and the bar not open everyday.
