The location was not down town or near Toyota Center, so that felt deceptive. It was in the 5th ward so downtown was a bit of a drive. There were several boarded up properties in view of this property, and I wouldn't feel comfortable walking around after dark, as a single woman. The property also boasted a hot tub, but it did not include a hot tub.

The home was beautifully renovated and messages with the owner were responded to very quickly. There was a ton of space. We unexpectedly arrived a bit early and the owner adjusted our key entrance on the spot and was very friendly about it.

Attention to detail was missed on a few items but the host did respond and offer to remedy those issues. As of 4-19-24, the hot tub is not operational.

This is a spacious, creative living environment. As a photographer, I appreciated the creativity that was put into this place. It is artful and pleasant. This place could easily and comfortably accommodate a large family or a group of friends. I recommend this location!

The location was terrible and the booking.com site was misleading about the amenities. The couch was not a sofa bed nor was there a queen bed in with the full beds there was queen air mattress which should have stated in the amenities. It said there was pool a spa services and a hot tub. The hot tub was a plastic bath. Dirty towels were found in the closet and it was not the cleanest. It’s stated there are three bathrooms it’s 2 and half baths.

There was nothing I didn't like. I do wish they offered bike rentals, but I knew they didn't before I made the reservation.

I loved everything about my stay! The hosts were great and responded promptly. The location was central, just 8 minutes from downtown, with many new construction homes in the area. The house was super clean and exactly as shown in the pictures.

Apart from the inconvenience of not being able to extend my stay on the final day, as I had hoped to explore the city further, everything else was excellent. The host informed me that they had another reservation for that day, which prevented the extension. Nonetheless, my overall experience was positive.

After reading some negative reviews, I hesitated to book this reservation. However, upon viewing the listing, I decided to take a leap of faith. To my delight, I was pleasantly surprised by the decor, sparkling cleanliness, and overall attention to detail. It appears there may be a new property management team in place, as I was thoroughly impressed with everything. Additionally, the neighborhood was pleasant, and it was only a short drive to the Toyota Center, where I attended an event. The backyard/patio area exceeded my expectations from the pictures. I can confidently say that I received excellent value for my money.

It was dirty, had flies, trash under the bed, empty soda cans left all over the place. The back yard was disappointing, games were disgusting and all over the drawers and stacked in the garage. Not enough towels. Just horrible.

It was very underwhelming compared to the pictures. The outside was not set up neat in any manner. There was trash just laying around. Gushers wrappers, cans, bottles ect…The spa tub was green and completely unusable. The garage/game room had trash and is being used for storage. The floors definitely had not been moped. There were stains in curtains. Stains on the stairs and walls. The living area smelled of cigarettes. The shower was disgusting and unusable. I found some cleaner and a sponge and cleaned the smaller shower. For the price it was definitely not worth it. The part of town is not the best either. That part is on me I should have researched more. I did reach out to the owner. He apologized and stated he was out of town but would send some by to clean the next day. I agreed and asked for a time frame. I was never promoted with a time frame. I received a call stating the cleaner was outside. No time to be prepare to be out of the house secure our things. When I expressed my concern about not being promoted with a time, the owner just said I’m sorry they didn’t tell me when they were coming. The cleaning crew was a family a mom, young child and father. They seemed confused on why they were coming back to clean. I asked for the outside and shower to be cleaned since we didn’t know when they were coming. The shower did get cleaned. The outside was partially picked up. It was a little awkward, my partner and I just sat around for an hour while they cleaned. This was supposed to be a relaxing get away for my partner and I. The longer we stayed the more things we found wrong like a half eaten bueno bar in the drawers in the kitchen questionable spill stains in the bedroom. The living room coffee table and beer caps and something else on the bottom part of it. I wish I could add more pictures. I did ask for the cleaning fee to be refunded with no response. Close to $800 for 2 nights you’d expect it to look more like the pictures. Just be cleaner really.

The home was stunning, just as advertised. It was impeccably clean, nestled amidst a neighborhood brimming with freshly built houses. Quiet and family-oriented, the area boasted proximity to downtown Houston's dining scene. The garage-turned-game room was packed with enjoyable activities, including a diverse selection of board and card games that delighted my friends. During our evening gathering, the neon sign and strip lights created a delightful ambiance in the home. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring we had a truly pleasant experience throughout our stay.

Unfortunately, I couldn't prolong my visit. The host informed me of prior bookings, which I respect, yet I truly hoped there would be room for me to extend my stay.

The beds were hard as a rock, there were no less than 20 remotes for the LED lights and no labels as to which one was which on top of that most of the LED lights worked (the ones in the main bedroom looked like they had been trampled on and they were only a couple on the strip that turned on) someone cut the power cord to the LED lights in the living room and the lights were a big reason we booked this place, there was dirty dishes with caked on food, and construction going on that woke us up early. Also, checkout says 11-11:30, but you get locked out at 11 on the dot. We almost were not able to get back in to get our stuff, but luckily we had the garage door open. I told the host that I felt like we deserved a partial refund and he agreed to $100, but when we left he said that he and his partners thought a refund was no warranted even though I sent pictures/videos proving everything I said.

My husband and I had no issues or concerns at this property. Nor, did our other family members (guest).

Hi' I recently had a wonderful stayed here with my husband over the holiday, and this place was very warm and inviting throughout. Upon entrance, we first notice the high ceilings and half bath with nice decor. Which was a plus when entertaining our guest. Then, the kitchen was very modern and accommodating, it exceeded our expectations by having all the amenities that you would normally have in a home. Which, included pots, pans, utensils, coffee maker, blender, crock pot etc. and last but not least various seasonings for those of us who may have forgotten our own or needed a little extra. Now, this place has an open floor plan to the living room with a large flat screen TV. sofa and chairs that was great for movie night & game night; that was available during our stay. Lastly, the upstairs (3) bedrooms are large and beautifully decorated with ambience lighting and furnishings. For, which the master ensuite is also large and has a lovely contemporary design with clean lines and walk-in closet for your personal belongings. Then, there's the beds; all of which are very comfy and cozy for you to snuggle into after a long day. Now, the host was amazing in every way. He was always polite, friendly, and understanding, as well as attentive to our needs as customers. He did checked in on us to inquire, if we had any issues or concerns and of course we had none. This is a great place to stay; so when in town we will most definitely book this place again.

Does not sleep as many as advertised! Area around property was not as expected. Name is misleading. Quiet but worried about surroundings. Needs more towels & kitchen things like baking sheets & pot holders & kitchen towels.

Everything was great. Was a bit concerned about the location at night fall, but we had no issues at all.

I love how it felt like home away from home. The decor and aesthetic were great. The cleanliness and communication from beginning to end was awesome. Great place to host guest.
