An unusual thing in my experience is the need to pay $150 deposit on arrival, which is apparently refunded within 6 days. A general comment for all motels is that I like a kettle so that I can make a mug of tea in a couple of minutes.

Victoria Inn is well located in Reno. The city has good supermarkets within a short drive from the motel. The facilities and comfort of the room is good.

I didn't look carefully, but it seems they have two heaters—one of which you can't control. I found the default temperature too high for my liking at night. Typically, I reduce the heat during my sleep, but I couldn't do that here. I'm pretty sure my son liked it though!

The furniture is old-fashioned but well-maintained. Everything was clean, giving it a nostalgic feel, reminiscent of visiting your grandma's house. I particularly love the clock that actually goes tick-tock. Some strong points include a genuinely clean bathtub, a microwave, and a fridge. They've added a pleasant scent to mask any lingering odors from previous guests, a significant improvement compared to Motel 6, which often smells like food half of the time.

No blower dryer as stated, thin and very limited towels, bit smokey smellng.

Cute place with quaint furnishings. Could use better towels (they were thin, only one towel and washcloth per person, no hand towels), had to ask for a blow dryer. Staff very friendly. Convenient location, near Nugget Event center, and good price. I’m pretty sure I requested non-smoking, but there was a pinchy smoke smell in the room. Would stay again, but make sure to confirm non-smoking and ask for more towels.

Noisy tenants above us in rooms and outside past beginning of quiet hours. They did quiet down shortly after quiet hours started but their language was foul and loud. Room had no hangers to hang up our clothes, nor a blow dryer in bathroom.

The property is old and in need of upgrades. The key to the rooms are still an actual key and not card access. AC look like and sound like swamp cooler. Bathroom is small and shower head is short. To wash my hair I had to squat down and I’m only 5’7”. The floor was dirty. The bottom of my feet was black after walking around the floor for a few minutes. There were quite a few hobos hanging around the property after dark.

The staff was ok. No problem checking in.

Its the second time I've had to be moved to a different room. Last time was because there was no blinds. This time it was because the tv didn't work. My issue, which isn't one to keep me from coming back, was that the guy who is behind the counter gets an attitude. Both times he has treated me like I was being a jerk for wanting what, I thought, every other hotel will provide. I guess you pay for what you get. It's a good cheap hotel. Dont expect perfection

Old building, dirty exteriors

The outside of the building is old, rusty and dirty with cigarette buds and leaves flying around everywhere. The room itself was decent, nothing to brag about.

This is a basic motel. Staff is a little bit stand offish. Handtowels would be nice. Clean, yet very basic. Location is good next to Reno. Some upgrades would make this a lot nicer. Tubs are tattered but bed wa comfortable.

The $150 fee that was held for cleaning while staying there - it hinted the clientelle and the neighborhood is not the best.

The staff was welcoming and the room was clean, but given the location, it was rather expensive.

It was a large room with a King Bed. Sweet decorations.I liked the hard floors because I know they are clean as opposed to carpet...which is unlikely to be cleaned. Yes the place is run down but the competent friendly staff and large clean room exceeded my expectations.
