Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyThe room and the facilities were clean. The motel has quite a nice atmosphere. But at night it can get a little noise due to the closeness to a bigger street.

United States of AmericaThere are only several units in this place, but parking spots are not "assigned" to them. Consequently we have someone else's car in front of our window. Not a big deal, but not as convenient as it could be.
Our room was clean and quiet. Great ambience and nice music during day time. Thank you for letting us to check in earlier.

United States of AmericaFor the price, I can't add much. The neighborhood is gentrifying, which means it's mixed in various ways. You can walk to coffee shops and yoga studios....and there's a more downscale motel next door. But we felt perfectly safe in the motel and I walked alone each morning with no concerns.
Culver City proved to be a good location for our various activities. Villa Brasil was clean, reasonably priced and had free on-site parking. The décor is charming and warm. The room was comfortable, with plenty of storage and spots to sit and read or eat. They kindly stocked the room with coffee/tea materials, and some fruit, soda and candy bars, which was sweet. The wifi was good. I also appreciated that even though we were on the ground floor, we could open the curtains and even the windows without anybody looking in.

United States of AmericaThe entrance to the inn is very narrow, enough room for only one car to pass through at a time, with no sign at the entrance indicating the inn name.
Very clean, pretty and colorful inn. Owners were very friendly and accommodating. They provided complimentary water and soda and candies.

United States of AmericaMy room was never serviced during my five night stay. I was expecting some fresh towels, etc.
The room was on the smaller side, but cozy and clean. There was a kitchenette with microwave, refrigerator, and sink. There was a patio table and chairs outside, it looked inviting.

United States of AmericaNone.
This is a small family owned hotel, not a chain, so the rooms don't have a corporate atmosphere. There are so many things to appreciate: Pleasant room, clean, has windows that open and close, curtains that can be opened and still have privacy, comfortable bed, extra sink with dining area (so you don't have to use the bathroom sink). When I visited it was quiet, I couldn't hear the neighbors. Plenty of free parking. Friendly staff.

United States of AmericaThe Villa Brasil gets an A in every category. I love the place.
Friendly staff, comfortable, clean rooms, each with its own charming, distinct personality, a funky, tasty, adjoining Brazilian restaurant, flowers everywhere, a great location. Overall, in this seasoned traveler’s opinion it’s the best hotel for the price in LA.

Great kitschy motel with adjoining Brazilian-style restaurant. In just a short wander, there are a few other good restaurants, bakeries, and coffee shops. Maybe 15 mins. to the coast? This was not our first time staying here, which is probably just as good a recommendation as anything else I can write.
