To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The location was fantastic, off the main street but only 5 mins away from Waikiki beach. The communication we had prior to arrival was impressive. The information booklet was very helpful. The kitchen is effective for our needs with a large fridge.

The check in with door code was great. The cleanliness of the unit exceeded my expectation. It has everything I needed for my stay. The location and free parking was a bonus. My unit was in tower two and I did not experience any delay with the elevator. My host Connie was very nice and communicate well. She was responsive and check on me. I will stay here again when I come back to Waikiki.

United States of AmericaThe building is a bit dated and one elevator was covered with very old curtains inside. In the condo, we only wished the vacuum worked better. air conditioner is noisy and we never used it at night time.
We spent an amazing week here. perfectly located, walking distance from the beach/stores/restaurant. easy check in and out, owner is very friendly and responsive. condo has all the equipment needed for a great week. Free parking is very nice to have.

Connie and the staff at Koko are very pleasant and are there for you and can address issues quickly. Connie has the place stocked with all the amenities that guest would ever need. The free parking on site is a big plus. BBQ's are clean and a nice feature.

United States of AmericaThe cleanliness was surface only. There was only one garbage bag and no fresh sponges to do dishes.
It was airy and light. We opened the windows to let in the cool breeze. The lanai was awesome to sit outside! We did some barbecuing and had family over. My boyfriend broke his leg and was pretty incapacitated, but we were able to walk to town with the wheelchair. WiFi worked well and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook! (Except salt) Overall a comfortable stay.

CanadaI did not like the checkout procedure having to leave the keys on the counter. Managers initially could not find them and it caused us time and concern to sort out that the keys were left on the counter. There should be a checkout inspection.
I liked the night guard meeting us at a late arrival time. The manager was accessible for questions or concerns.

United States of AmericaDated, uncomfortable pillows. I was told after my checkout time, that I needed to leave the parking pass in the room. As I wasn’t aware of that prior to my departure, I left it in the rental car. I was told I would be charged $150 for not leaving it in the room. I would strongly suggest you mention this fact to your tenants at the beginning of their stay and not after they have already left the premises, after their checkout time.
