Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaIn my past stays at Honolulu, I stayed at Halekulani, Trump International Hotel Waikiki, Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach, and Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort, Sheraton Waikiki. But this is the best, I strongly recommend this place if you would stay in Waikiki since this is the most beautiful, comfortable, convenient and cleanest place you've ever expected! There are 4 reasons. First, this is the cleanest place I've ever stayed. I stayed Trump International Hotel Waikiki 2 weeks ago from staying this place, I found couples of cosmetic stains on bathroom sink, on bathrobes, and inside the cabinet. Also, some chips and garbage under the other cabinet, a dried lime under the kitchen sink. So I asked for room cleaning on the first day I stayed, and they charged $230 for it. But still there is dried lime under the kitchen sink. Compared with that, this place is spotless! No dust in this room, just perfectly clean that I really need. Enough clean towels, beach towels, hand towels, sheets, and blankets. Secondly, this is the most convenient place you can ever be able to imagine. You can walk to the Waikiki shopping area, any kind of high and low restaurant, and $7 Uber to Ala Moana Center (you can walk if you want). You can go anywhere by walking, and by more or less $10 Uber. Of course you can walk to the beach, just behind this hotel. Waikiki beach always has tons of people, but this area has fewer people and is more gorgeous if you want to relax and chill. Thirdly, you'll have breathtaking views from this place. Because it is next to the Hawaii Army Museum Society, there is no high building like other beachside hotels in Waikiki. So you can see the spectacular sunset everyday, and the dazzling fireworks every Friday from Hilton. Last of all, this place is more spacious than any other hotel around this place. If you would love to pay more, you should stay at Halekulani because it's one minutes away from this place.

United States of AmericaNot for the room but could be perfect if this hotel had a pool... but ocean is right in front so no problem!
The room was so clean and very nice looking! I personally stayed this hotel maybe 10 years ago but I this this room was renovated and looks so great. Very opened so it was good to stay with small kids actually. And this is something else but I really like the idea that lanai has the big mirror on the other side of ocean so feels like we can see ocean from any angle!

PhilippinesThe furniture in the apartment and on the balcony (mainly chairs) were not vey comfortable. The air-conditioning was difficult to regulate to a set point temperature (thermostat issue?).
We liked the location and view of the beach and ocean.
