Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

The breakfast was a disappointment. We were there in April 2023, and the breakfast was much better. Missing items and empty items on the bar. Waiters were very good, but not enough help. Waiters were almost running trying to keep up.

DenmarkA bit too many things were pay to use. A balance where a few more things are ready to use for everyone staying would have been a better fir in our opinion.
Room: If you really wanted to be picky there was a few worn down things in the room, TV Counter was missing a small part of the side, which was visible, when entering. Balcony also has bare wood showing at then end under some glass that you also saw with a critical eye, but if that kind of thing bugs you, then you'd notice. The rest about the room was great. Had a new smart TV as well, that was great for a family movie night. Pool: The pools where nice and didn't seems chloride filled like a lot of other places, we've tried, which was really nice. There are an 18+ pool with great views and good service, but it could be a bit hard to get a spot there. The 2 pools that are open to everyone are nice, but definitely doesn't feel as luxurious. They are still really nice though. The place did however have a lot of "reserved" seatting, which had to be payed for. Specific seats, couches and the 21+ serenity pool all had to be reserved and payed for. Some reservations costing up to 800usd a day. If you really want some high end luxurious options and don't mind spending the money for it these seatting are great, but we didn't feel the need to use them and still enjoyed it a lot. View: Views were 10/10. Saw whales jumping in the ocean every single day.

CanadaNo bathrooms by the “ adult pool “ the $50 a day for parking seemed ridiculous considering the cost of the room . The restaurant food was overpriced , the laundry facility was broken down and old .
The view was excellent , the food at the humble market restaurant was excellent , the grounds were excellent , the staff were excellent except for one , the valet service was excellent

United States of AmericaThe front desk and the water sports activities desks were understaffed, staff working really hard but still long queus, more people needed at both. The included breakfast was also very slow, we had to wait almost an hour on the day we got there at 9:15am, if you got there early it was OK but still wait times. The rooms were good but not amazing which at over $1,000 per night I was expecting.
Staff were super friendly and the rooms were cleaned very well on a daily basis. Rooms were nice but a bit noisy (even after we changed to a quieter side of the hotel). The location is great, both beaches very accessible and lots to see and do in the area.

NetherlandsI know Hawaii is not cheap but the total price just does not translate. For example, You pay $50 resort fee per day (on top of a very pricey room rate) but still have to pay for a lot of items if you wish to use them. Also the breakfast buffet is $50 per person… didn’t do that, the supermarket is just 5 min walk.
Very nice. Also a great lounge to freshen up before our red eye flight.

NetherlandsOur bedroom even if spacious was quite noisy, you could hear everything that was going on in the corridor and also on the bedroom above ours. Breakfast experience was not enjoyable, the food was average and you always have to wait 15/20min to be seated. If you were seated in the balcony you had not only to constantly watch out for bird poop, but also eat surrounded by bird poop stains everywhere. For a hotel this expensive, they could clean the bird poop stains a bit more often. If you want to have a drink in the lobby bar, they will serve you your sparkling wine in a plastic glass, which again seems a bit out of place for a hotel like this. Last but not least, and also considering how much you pay to stay in this resort, we found a bit ridiculous that you still have to pay for parking while you are there.
The resort is located in a beautiful spot, the view from the lobby and for the adults pool is stunning. Also it is just a quick drive away from Kihei, which offers a lot of restaurant options. Our bedroom was quite spacious and we liked the fact that the hotel had an adults only pool.

United KingdomEverything closes so early. Not sure what you're supposed to do after 8pm. We went to another resort hotel that had bars and restaurants open later. Should have researched better and picked another location. No concept of a lobby bar where you can relax and have a drink at any time.. You have to either sit in a restaurant that's open twice a day, or by a noisy pool, or go to a beach side hut where there is no shade.
The room was a great size. It overlooked one of the children's pools but the noise wasn't disturbing. Loved that there was a Nespresso machine. Nice grounds and great views out to sea.
