The room needed cleaning. The couch was just permanently yucky, but the closet and dresser drawers and ceiling fan were simply not cleaned. The bathroom window didn't open more than an inch@

Everyone working there was so nice and helpful! The room was large, with a kitchen, and an excellent price for such a central, but quiet location

No fan in the shower/bathroom made the fire alarm go off when opening the door to get air. The key cards were not reliable.

The set up of the room made it a nice place to meet with the people we needed to - good sized table and chairs along with another small plush chair. The small kitchen was also a plus. The location was close to our business and the private secure entrance worked perfectly to meet with the client. This place is wheelchair accessible and that is what was needed.

A little hard to find in the dark at night; stairwell not always lit.

Room is comfortable, kinda spacious (given that it’s a converted studio apartment).

After all this ,we booked 9 nights a week in advance, which the hotel cancelled at very last minute

We were not given basic human kindness or understanding to the situation we had been unavoidably put into, but instead were treated with irritation. We were keeping constant communication with the staff about checking out and packing up as quickly as physically possible considering the mistake that the booking site had made, and I was wholly willing to pay any and all late fees, while expressing our apologies and embarrassment for the miscommunication on part of the third party booking site. It took time to get everything packed (afterall, we are in the process of moving, so we have a large amount of luggage, and had been settled there for almost 2 weeks), but that didnt make a difference in us being sure the room was very clean when we left; we used our own small, cordless vacuum on the carpet, made sure that all surfaces and drawers were wiped down and cleaned out, stripped all bed sheets and pillow cases, leaving them piled neatly with our towels and robes, and also left no trash behind, taking it all out to the trash shoot ourselves. And all that was in addition to tipping $50 to the staff. The following week, we booked a 9 night stay at the sister property of the hotel i just described, five days in advance. However, at last minute, despite having 5 days notice, the hotel cancelled my 9 night reservation only a few hours before the check in time via an unacceptably basic email, lacking any explanation, leaving no time to find another place to stay, So despite my continued communication with the hotel about my reservation being mishandled by the other company, my desperate willingness to do whatever I could to fix the situation, leaving a clean room and paying a $30 charge and a $50 gratuity, this hotel cancelling my reservation is an unneccessary decision, but to do so last minute and leaving me out of a place to stay is just unethical and horrible common courtesy.

The bedding and robes and room was extremely comfortable. Everything was Great.... until the last day. Prior to that day we had been extending our reservation each night through a third party, due to the fact that we receive income on a daily basis , and therefore couldn't afford more than one night at a time, something we had confirmed with the hotel staff was not an issue. But after repeating the same process for the 4th or 5th time, we woke up on what ended up being our last morning there to find that the site wed been using had double booked us.

Stairwells were locked at unpredictable intervals. Wi-fi didn’t work very well. Kitchen was equipped, but barely- absolute minimum for basic cooking and eating for two people. Smell of smoke in room and windows didn’t open. All probably fine for a short term stay, but frustrating for our 11 day trip.

The property is in an excellent location downtown. Staff super friendly. Bed was comfortable and property felt very safe. Hot shower and plenty of toiletries. A/C worked well in room.

Overall the service was great, the staff were great. My biggest complaint is that the building had a general smell of sewage inside. Maybe that’s just how downtown Portland is,I don’t know.

The breakfast was not complimentary so we did not get it. It was deceiving as it was not made clear in the reservation that it was an additional cost.

Shower pressure wasn't great but it did the job. Fridge a bit loud at night and blinds meant it got light in the room quite early in the morning. But for the price of the place, not a big deal for us.

This was a great stay for us. The area is very nice with lots of restaurants etc near by. Laundry available in the building and reasonably priced. Bed was comfortable, kitchen was good with enough equipment for cooking. Good sized room. Complementary shampoo etc was in wall mounted pumps rather than small bottles, we appreciated the environmentally conscious approach.

Some of the utensils and crockery in the kitchen were not cleaned and still had bits of food etc on them. It could do with a little bit of updating but still a great stay and perfect for my trip.

It was a great location and perfect for my trip. I did not do any cooking but used the fridge, toaster and microwave to prepare breakfasts and lunches and ate out for dinner each day (to help keep costs down!). The room is a little tired and could do with modernising, but the apartment was perfect, clean and functional, and the bed was super comfortable for me. There was an AC, a separate chair for me to sit on and a small table. The shower and bathroom was fine. Hot water whenever I showered, although it could take some time to come through. The courtyard is very pretty as you come in, easy to use lift and you feel safe (locked gate and lift). You can also use the 'gym' in the attached hotel, although this is only a very small room with a few weights, a treadmill and a step/crosstrainer with some mats, but fine for a few days. To check in you go to the Marks Spencer Hotel around the corner, the staff were really nice and friendly. Also very nice restaurants all within 5 minutes walking!

It was loud outside the window due to hearing other air conditioners. It was a portable air conditioner that worked well but was connected to an outside motor or something so there was a constant sound outside.

Location in the city was great. Good lighting in the space and bare necessities.
