Our 2nd stay. Our room location was upstairs with an excellent view to Cowell Beach and the Boardwalk. It was wonderful to have us e of the bicycles. Easy car parking.

What a location !! View of the beach from our bed, the lounge and the veranda. Everyone was really friendly and the complimentary cheese and wine in the afternoon was a great way to finish the afternoon and start the evening. Sitting at the outside tables after dark listening to the sea and seeing the beach was a special memory.

Honestly there was nothing we didn't like.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. Thd cook was lovely and her food was so tasty. They looked after us exceptionally well.

The description led one to believe it would be very different, perched up on a hill, even a cliff. Not so. There is no Ac or ceiling fan. Bed was hard

Do not stay on the first floor! I was in room number one it was right up against the kitchen and the reception area. It was extremely noisy very early in the morning.

Very charming hotel in Santa Cruz with a beach view. It is an old building, but very nicely decorated. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, clean, they do provide a very good breakfast. Main pier, beach is basically 4-5 minutes walking distance.

We asked for an early check in and they were very pleasant about accommodating us and they texted when our room was ready.. two hours early..We had a special request as my wife's brother is in assisted living nearby and we wanted to be able to go back and forth

Nothing, it was perfect.

The whole building was beautiful and impeccably decorated. It was also incredibly easy to follow the instructions in as we checked in while the manager was on her mandated break, when she returned she checked us in fully and could not have been more lovely, it was honestly the highlight of our honeymoon being here, if only for one night.

It’s a pity that the Inn gets a concrete block in front of the sea - but the view to Cornell beach is still amazing

The inn is located in an old Victorian house - and it was beautiful renovated and furnished. The renovation was done carefully so that spirit of the Victorian style didn’t get lost while habe modern and comfortable features.

Very minor fix, most of the very large bedroom windows don’t stay open, perhaps provide a wood block to keep these magnificent windows open and or add a ceiling fan.

Absolutely amazing Inn, staff very friendly and helpful. Breathtaking views, fireplace in the room, wow factor bathroom with jacuzzi tub for two as well oversized shower. Love the outdoor porch.

We loved this property- everything from the location (across the street from the beach/wharf but still within view from the room) to the staff (very friendly and helpful) to the extra touches that made our stay special (drinks and cookies upon welcome, a cheese and wine reception in the afternoon). We also enjoyed the breakfast, which had mostly cold options with one rotating hot option. The room was beautiful as well! Nothing bad to say, we would recommend :)

Bed is really high and not that comfortable. Ditto the pillows. Breakfast was a disappointment. Advertised a discount for Roaring Camp railroad but the code didn’t work

A beautiful historic property with superb views across the beach and wharf at Santa Cruz from a wonderful terrace. Cheese and wine for guests daily - a lovely touch .
