Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ArgentinaThe location is quite far from shops if you do not have a car, and the town is quite simple. It is important to take into account that Kayenta is part of the Navaja Nation, and has customs typical of this community, eg they do not sell alcoholic beverages, in summer the time zone differs from Arizona, etc.
It is a simple but quite complete hotel to spend the night. It has a large space for breakfast. Comfortable room. Parking included. Friendly hotel staff, with a different style from other communities. Nice gift shop at the reception

United States of AmericaThe reception was quite "cool" when we arrived about 40 minutes before noted time to check availability. Didn't feel much more welcome when we returned at designated time. We had a second floor room; there is no elevator. The parking lot was quite congested.
The accommodation was quite nice. The room is very clean and quite large. The breakfast offered a nice variety and has a lovely outdoor patio as well ans indoor dining.

SwitzerlandShampoo provided was of so-so quality. Stray dogs in the parking lot made us feeling slightly unsafe. The breakfast atmosphere was somewhat stressful, it was quite crowded (which the hotel could not control; we were still happy to get a breakfast).
Hotel was easy to find, staff was very helpful and efficient, parking was good, the room was nice and spaceous.

PolandIt's worth noting that the price was a bit on the expensive side for what was offered. We expected a bit more in terms of amenities and overall value, given the price we paid. However, it's essential to mention that the motel was conveniently located near the places we wanted to visit, which was a plus. One aspect of the motel that left us with mixed feelings was the presence of dogs roaming outside. While we understand that the motel might be in a rural area or near pet-friendly attractions, we were relieved to find that the dogs were harmless and didn't cause any disturbance during our stay. However, it would have been more reassuring if there were clear guidelines in place to ensure the safety and comfort of both guests and the roaming animals.
Our overall, our experience was okay. While there weren't any particular criticisms, it also wasn't a remarkable stay. Here's a summary of our time at the motel: The staff were undoubtedly one of the highlights of our stay. They were friendly, accommodating, and always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests we had. Their warm and welcoming demeanor made us feel appreciated as guests, and we genuinely enjoyed interacting with them. As for the room, it was clean and tidy, but it lacked any unique features or standout amenities. It had the essentials for a comfortable stay, but we couldn't help but feel that it lacked the little extra touches that would have made our experience truly memorable. On the positive side, the motel's surroundings were peaceful and quiet, which allowed us to get a good night's sleep after our daily adventures. We appreciated the tranquil environment, especially after a long day of exploring the nearby attractions. In summary, our stay was just okay. While there were no significant criticisms, we couldn't shake the feeling that it was a bit overpriced for what it offered. The friendly staff and harmless dogs outside were pleasant aspects, but they didn't compensate for the lack of remarkable features or amenities that would have made the stay truly exceptional. If you're looking for a simple, no-frills accommodation with a warm staff, this place will suffice.
