The floors, kitchen, and bathroom were clean, but the carpet in the bedroom was dirty, the comforters on the bed and in the closet were either stained with water spots or dirty, the pillowcases on the extra pillows looked used, and there weren't any pillowcases that I could find to replace them with in the closet. The comforter was functional but was thin & looked comparable to an unzipped sleeping bag. The kitchen had few utensils and bowls to cook and prepare with, the steak knives were very dull & everything in the cupboards and drawers were either very old & looked like thrift store items or were non-existent if you needed to cook for several days which I assume most people do at a cabin, and we did. There was no foil, one small square of saran wrap left, two ziploc baggies, and no bowls with lids for leftovers. There was no coffee, no sugar, no dry coffee creamer. There were no basic cooking spices except salt & pepper, thyme, creole & Cajun seasoning, adobo and steak seasoning, and the ice machine on the outside of the refrigerator was broken. The trash bag was very inexpensive and tore when I tried to tie it closed and there weren't any extra trash bags for the kitchen. Overall, it was a good stay for us even if it was frustrating at times, and the cost for the rental was higher than it should've been for what we got in return.

It was a good size cabin for 2 people-the layout was nice with the sitting room and kitchen being connected. Nice gas stove, and the large stone-tiled shower in the bathroom was lovely.

It over all was a nice stay. Lovely location, private, cozy. My only gripe is that the hot tub was broken and we weren't informed.

The outside was a bit run down. We had booked this property in part because of the advertised hot tub. The hot tub did not work the entire time we were there. Someone was supposed to be sent out to look at it. We were out all day so it either didn’t happen or they were unable to fix it.

We loved the location. The interior was very cozy.

I didn’t realize the upstairs was a sketchy ladder/stairs we are all older and it’s hard to maneuver up those. the outside stairs were covered in snow so in case of emergencies you wouldn’t be able to go out and leave. it didn’t sleep as much as I expected I read the description in the beginning and I thought it said 2 bedroom one with 3 bed one with one bed not expecting only 2 actual beds a cot and a hid-abed that’s super thin and dips in. over all the place was nice and cozy. the dishes were all wet when going to use them as well.

Front of property seemed a little unkept. Half the light bulbs were broken or missing. Get rid of the irritating Led lights over the dining table, it kills the cabin ambiance. twin bed upstairs was broken.

Hot tub was nice! Really appreciated the much needed air conditioners up and down stairs. Bathroom was nice.

Hot tub did not work. Hot water in shower last about 5 minutes. Dishwasher did not work. Had an error button on it. Outside garbage can was full, had to push the garbage in to get the lid to shut. Lightbulb burnt out in the living room where the only lighting for that area was. Staircase outside needs more lighting. This is where we came down during the night as the ladder to the upstairs is very steep. 1 bathroom on main floor so if you are sleeping upstairs, prepare for the descent.

Had no internet for my grand daughters school work. I tried contacting office which it didn’t get resolved I didn’t have time to play mechanic for the internet or locate the remote for the heater upstairs. Hot tub would not heat up as well.

I loved the look and feel of the cabin. It had everything we needed in a compact space.

So I tried my best to get my money back but they refuse so they want their business and home to be known I guess. I warned them i would make this place known, ok read this all before you book and think if you want to book here and if it's worth your health. So we get there there's a bunch of mosquitoes outside, we thought eh they'll go away. We go in the house they come in and bombard the house hiding everywhere obviously because the whe time we were there overnight thinking they would go away inside the house and that we mightve killed enough of the mosquitoes there wouldn't be anymore..nope they kept trying to attack us the whole time inside the house we couldn't have any fun at all. I myself got woke up by buzzing by my ear followed by getting bit in the arm and not being able to sleep much cause I was worried I was going to get bit, I kept waking up making sure my kids bodies were covered other than their mouths and nose to breathe thru the night. Next morning comes I try to make breakfast for my kids i had to open the door since they have very strong gas stove, I had the fan in the door to try to keep the smell out because the gas odor was so strong but the mosquitoes kept coming in even in the morning. We said no more, we were supposed to stay 2 nights, that's wasn't about to happen, we said we are hurrying up and packing luckily I found a cabin that did not have these problems so we packed and in that half hour (here's one of two problems) my daughter got bit over 15 times in the half hour we were packing up and putting stuff in our vehicle, her bumps were very swollen, hurting and irritated. Since we weren't from the area we tried to get some benadryl and witch hazel which the pharmacist said should help, it barely helped anything at all, just made her groggy. We tried to make the best of it at the other place but once we left my daughter was still miserable.

The beds are a little on the hard side, but I appreciated all the extra blankets and pillows in the closet.

We really loved the area and how quiet and peaceful it was. The hot tub was the perfect way to relax!
