Joe's diner was a joke on Sun am. 1 cook and 1 server. 30+ minute wait. We left. The walk to parking was a bit much for those with some back issues. Too bad they didn't include door from parking lot on the side into registration.

They have free shuttle, we went on the first weekend of the ice sculpture festival, the shuttle service was ok to get to Main Street but we tried to call around 4 times, tried on different times, to get the shuttle service back to the hotel and they never answer. We understand they're short on staff but we had a couple of problems on both of the restaurants, the night we stayed basically the manager of the restaurant was hosting, serving and almost cooking because they're short staffed, we order appetizers and the appetizers were served at the same time of the main course and even some of the appetizers came after our main course was served, also we asked our burgers and steaks to be medium rare and both came well done, when we said something the answer was that they only had 1 person in the kitchen, at the end of the argument the manager gave us a discount on our meal that night but still wasn't a nice experience; then on the next day we went to have lunch before leaving on the other restaurant and was basically the same, it took forever for them to bring us our food, it seemed the people in the kitchen cooked first the chicken of my salad, then a burger that we order and again was overcooked, so when we got our food the chicken of my salad was cold. Although we don't have kids I think is not convenient to have a cover parking lot were the only way to get to the hotel from the building of the parking lot without going outside is crossing the Casino and families with kids won't be able to do it as kids can't walk through the casino, if you're traveling with kids or underage is better to drop them at the entrance before going to the parking lot, otherwise if is winter time they'll have to walk outside of the building on the cold to be able to get to the hotel. We had a good time, I won't rate my experience as a bad experience but those are things that should be improve.

Location is excellent, the convince of a cover parking lot is great, parking is free, we had an issue of a double charge (one from booking and from from the hotel) but the manager help us immediately to void the charge from the hotel and gave us a free play bonus for the casino, we really appreciate the help and the gesture. Also they have late checkout (12pm) without charge, I really loved an appreciate that!

Speaking with one of the staff members they made the comment the hotel was cheaply built for such a new building. In the room I understood what he meant. I could hear the room next to me and all the goings on, even the snoring in the middle of the night. The room I stayed in had a wall plate off of it with exposed wires. TV was dam frustrating to work as it was all internet based and never really worked.

I liked that it was a newer hotel, the staff were extremely friendly.

The bed was ridiculously uncomfortable and the bottom of the shower curtain was lined with 2-3 inches of brown/yellow discoloration - it looked & smelled like it had been peed on repeatedly :(

We could of been put on a waiting list for a room for the next day- but they didn't tell us that until morning- by then we were second on the list- it all worked out- as we found a room the next day at a neighboring motel.
